Benjamin Frazier Taylor (born August 31, 1978) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies. Taylor was elected to the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 2017. He now teaches physical education and coaches football at Shenandoah University in Virginia.
Taylor was a standout for the Virginia Tech Hokies football team, earning All-America honors in 2000 and 2001. [1] He led the Hokies in tackles his junior and senior seasons with 103 tackles in 2000 and 121 in 2001. [2]
Taylor played in a total of 49 NFL games and had 218 tackles in four seasons with the Browns and one for the Green Bay Packers. [3]
Taylor selected by the Browns in the 4th round (111th overall) of the 2002 NFL draft. [4] His best year was in 2005 when he was second on the Browns with 113 tackles. [5]
On March 26, 2006, the Packers signed Taylor to a 1-year contract. [6]

After finishing his pro career, Taylor is a wide receivers coach for the Shenandoah University football team. [7]
Cornell Desmond Brown is an American football coach and former American college and professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. He played college football for Virginia Tech, and earned All-American honors twice. Drafted late in the sixth round of the 1997 NFL draft, he played professionally for the NFL's Baltimore Ravens. In 2013, Brown was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame.
Carroll Wayne Dale is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was an All-American playing college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies before becoming a member of the Green Bay Packers teams that won three straight NFL championships, including the first two Super Bowls. He was originally from Wise, Virginia.
Darryl Anthony Tapp is an American professional football coach and former defensive end who is the defensive line coach for the Washington Commanders. He played college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies and was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2006 NFL draft. Tapp also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before entering coaching in 2018.

Kameron Darnel Chancellor, nicknamed "Bam Bam Kam", is an American former professional football safety who spent his entire nine-year career with the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies prior to being selected by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL draft. A four-time Pro Bowler, he was one of the key members of their Legion of Boom secondary. He also helped lead the Seahawks to victory in Super Bowl XLVIII. Chancellor retired following complications from a neck injury he suffered in 2017.
