Benedikte Hansen (born 24 September 1958) is a Danish actress, best known to international audiences for her role as Hanne Holm in the television series Borgen . [1]
Hansen is the daughter of Dr Flemming Hansen (died 2003) and his wife Aase Riegels Borch. [2] She trained as an actress at Denmark's Statens Teaterskole, and has appeared on stage at the Royal Danish Theatre, Copenhagen. [3]
From 1983 to 1993, she was married to actor and director Gerz Feigenberg; the marriage ended in divorce. She subsequently married Laws Michael Christiansen; that marriage also ended in divorce. She subsequently had a relationship with actor Viggo Sommer, [4] which ended amicably in 2017. Following their break-up, Sommer said that the main problem was that "Benner", as he called Hansen, was living in Copenhagen while he was living in Aarhus. [5]
In 2013, she played her first major English-language screen role when she appeared as the Baroness in a new BBC adaptation of The Lady Vanishes . [6] In 2016 she won the Reumert Award for Best Actress. [7]

Bodil Ipsen was a Danish actress and film director, and is considered one of the great stars of Danish cinematic history. Her acting career, which began in theater and silent films, was marked by leading roles in large folk comedies and melodramas. However, it was as a director that she was most influential: directing the first Danish film noir and making several dark psychological thrillers during the 1940s and 1950s. Ipsen's name along with that of Bodil Kjer is given to Denmark's most celebrated film prize, the Bodil Award.

Birgitte Hjort Sørensen is a Danish actress. She has been nominated for three Robert Awards and one Bodil Award. Born in Hillerød and raised in Birkerød, Sørensen aspired to an acting career after watching the West End production of the musical Chicago while at school. She graduated from the Danish National School of Performing Arts. Her acting debut was in a minor role in the television series The Eagle in 2005. She followed this by playing Roxie Hart in a Copenhagen production of Chicago, and later on the West End. Sørensen's breakthrough role was as journalist Katrine Fønsmark in the television political drama Borgen.
The Reumert Award is an annual Danish awards ceremony to recognize excellence in theatre achievements in Denmark. The award was founded by the Bikuben Foundation in 1998, and has been handed annually since then. There are 16 award categories as well as 10 talent awards. A jury of ten specialists in theatre selects the recipients, who receive a statuette and a prize. As of 2016, the recipients also receive an amount of money. The recipients of the Reumert Award of Honour receive DKK 200,000, the recipients of the Talent Prize receive DKK 35,000 and all other categories-recipients receive DKK 40,000. The Reumert prize is named after the Danish actor Poul Reumert (1883–1968).
Viggo Sommer Kristensen is a Danish musician and comedian. He is primarily known for his work with the comedy trio De Nattergale, which made the popular TV-show The Julekalender in 1991. Sommer also appeared in Bamse's Billedbog for children. In late November 2015 the Danish punk band Skullclub published a Christmas album "Sving Dine Dadler" in which Sommer contributed the vocals.
Nyhavn 11 is an 18th-century property overlooking the Nyhavn canal in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Ludvig Ferdinand Rømer established a sugar refinery on the property in 1653 and it was later continued by changing owners until at least the 1860s. A small figure of a sugar-baker holding a sugar cone is still seen above the gate. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1932. Notable former residents include the general trader Jacob Severin and actors Christen Niemann Rosenkilde, Julie Sødring and Poul Reumert. The lamp manufacturer Louis Poulsen was later based in the building from 1908 to 2006.
