Wofford College is a private liberal arts college in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It was founded in 1854. The historic 175-acre (71 ha) campus is a national arboretum and one of the few four-year institutions in the southeastern United States founded before the American Civil War that still operates on its original campus.

ETSU/Mountain States Health Alliance Athletic Center, previously known as the Memorial Center, and popularly referred to as the "Mini-Dome", is an 8,539-seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Until 2014, it hosted ETSU's men's and women's basketball teams. It also serves as the indoor venue for tennis and track. At one time, the facility also hosted ETSU's football team, but the school discontinued its football program at the end of the 2003 season as a cost-cutting measure. The football team was reinstated in 2015, but did not return to the facility; the Buccaneers played the 2015 and 2016 seasons at Kermit Tipton Stadium, a local high school facility, before opening the new William B. Greene Jr. Stadium in 2017. It was the host of the 2006 and 2007 Atlantic Sun Conference men's basketball tournaments, and the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships from 2001 to 2011. The Mini-Dome has also hosted non-athletic events that could not be housed in an indoor setting on most American college campuses, such as national indoor championships for free flight model aircraft.
The Landers Center is an 8,400-seat multi-purpose arena in Southaven, Mississippi. It is home to the Memphis Hustle of the NBA G League, a minor league basketball team affiliated with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Gibbs Stadium is a 13,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It opened in 1996 and is home to the Wofford College Terriers football team. It is also the home to the Spartanburg High School varsity football team. It is home to the 30th largest college football scoreboard in the nation at 1,485 square feet (138.0 m2). It was named for the Gibbs family, long-time donors to Wofford, for their $1 million donation to build it.
Strahan Arena is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena in San Marcos, Texas. It is an $8.8 million facility built in 1982 and is home to the Texas State University Bobcats men's basketball team, women's basketball team and women's volleyball team.
Kenneth L. Johnson Health, Physical, Education & Recreation Complex is a 4,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, USA. It is home to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Lions men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball team. It originally opened in 1982 and was extensively renovated in 2006. The basketball and volleyball portion is called the Hubert O. Clemmons Basketball Arena.
Duncan Park is a stadium in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It is primarily used for baseball and is currently the home of the Spartanburgers of the Coastal Plain League, the Spartanburg High School baseball team, and the Spartanburg Post 28 American Legion Baseball (ALB) team. The ballpark has a capacity of 3,000 people and opened in 1926. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Wofford College sponsors 18 sports for men's and women's programs, competing as the Terriers. The Terriers compete in the Southern Conference, and have been a part of the league since the 1997–98 academic year. Wofford and the other SoCon members play football in the Football Championship Subdivision. Prior to the 1995–96 year, the Terriers played in Division II in all sports, and until the 1988–89 period, Wofford's athletic teams were members of the NAIA. The football team plays in Gibbs Stadium. The basketball teams moved to the new Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium for the 2017–18 season.
The Presbyterian Blue Hose are the athletic teams of Presbyterian College, located in Clinton, South Carolina, United States. The Blue Hose athletic program is a member of the Big South Conference and competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The PC Athletic Department fields a total of 17 varsity teams in eight men's and nine women's sports. The school colors are garnet and blue, and the mascot is Scotty the Scotsman, a medieval Scottish warrior. The team name comes from the socks worn by the football team in the early days of the twentieth century.
The Venue at UCF is a sports and entertainment arena located in Orlando, Florida on the main campus of The University of Central Florida. The arena which was opened in 1991, housed the Knights men's and women's basketball teams from 1991 to 2007, and has served as home to UCF's volleyball team since 1991. The Venue also serves as a practice facility for the university's basketball teams, and houses administrative offices for the same.

The Terriers, led by 16th-year head coach Mike Young, played their home games at the newly opened Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium in Spartanburg, South Carolina as members of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 21–13, 11–7 in SoCon play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They defeated Mercer in the quarterfinals of the SoCon Tournament to advance to the semifinals where they lost to UNC Greensboro. They were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament where, after a first round bye, they lost in the second round to Central Michigan.
