Benny Crespo's Gang is an Icelandic alternative rock band. They released their eponymous debut album in 2007. The group formed in 2003.
The members of the group are from a village in southern Iceland, Selfoss. [1] The band performed for four years before releasing their first album.
Their first album was released in 2007 and was well received by the Icelandic music scene. The album was nominated for the Icelandic Music Awards in 2008. [2] Along with good reviews in Iceland, they have been getting recognition in the foreign media, such as NME [3] and Clash . [4]
In 2008, the band joined Sign and Dr. Spock for a tour called Rás 2 Rokkar Hringinn. [5] They toured around the country with the support of the national public-service broadcasting radio, RÚV. Benny Crespo's Gang played at the NXNE Festival in Toronto in 2009.

The Killers are an American rock band formed in Las Vegas in 2001 by Brandon Flowers and Dave Keuning. After going through a number of short-term bass players and drummers in their early days, both Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. joined the band in 2002. Crystal Castles was a Canadian electronic music group formed in 2006 in Toronto, Ontario, formed by songwriter-producer Ethan Kath and singer-songwriter Alice Glass, who later left and was replaced by Edith Frances. Crystal Castles were known for their chaotic live shows and lo-fi melancholic homemade productions. They released many limited vinyl singles between 2006 and 2007 before releasing four studio albums between 2008 and 2016.

The band's frontman and founding member Ragnar Zolberg is also a solo artist and was a guitar player in the Swedish band Pain of Salvation. Sign has toured with bands such as Wednesday 13, The Wildhearts, Aiden, The Answer, Skid Row and played a show with Alice Cooper in Iceland. In August 2007 Sign played their first headline tour of the UK.

The Volta Tour was a tour by the singer Björk that focused on her album, Volta. Overall, 48 songs were done on the tour focusing on many tracks from Debut through to Vespertine, though mostly from Medúlla and Volta, the former of which did not receive its own tour. The tour band consisted of drummer Chris Corsano, musician Mark Bell, pianist Jónas Sen, musician Damian Taylor and a 10 piece female Icelandic brass section. Many of the songs evolved considerably during the tour, including "Innocence" which was re-done so as to incorporate brass elements. Live performances of the track "Declare Independence" made heavy use of the ReacTable, an electro-acoustic music instrument with a tabletop Tangible User Interface, which is played by Damian Taylor. The Tenori-on was used heavily in performances of "Who Is It". A live DVD and CD of the Volta tour was released as part of Voltaïc. The tour was Björk's first in four years and saw her play countries that she had not played in over ten years.
