Berit Unn Sandvik Johansen (born 18 July 1947) is a Norwegian figure skater. She became Norwegian champion in 1964. She competed at the Winter Olympics in 1964. [1]

Ritva Marjatta Kajosmaa is a Finnish former cross-country skier who competed during the 1970s. She competed in two Winter Olympics, earning a total of four medals. Kajosmaa also competed several times at the Holmenkollen ski festival, winning four times at 10 km and three times at 5 km. Additionally, she won two medals at the 1970 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a silver in the 10 km, and a bronze in 3 × 5 km relay.

Berit Ås is a Norwegian politician, psychologist, and feminist, who is currently Professor Emerita of social psychology at the University of Oslo. She was the first leader of the Socialist Left Party (1975–1976), and served as a Member of the Parliament of Norway 1973–1977. She was also a deputy member of parliament from 1969 to 1973, and from 1977 to 1981. She is known internationally for articulating the master suppression techniques, and her research interests also include feminist economics and women's culture. She holds honorary doctorates at the University of Copenhagen, Saint Mary's University (Halifax), and Uppsala University, and received the Rachel Carson Prize and the Order of St. Olav in 1997.

The Norway women's national handball team represents Norway at international handball competitions, and is governed by the Norges Håndballforbund (NHF). As of 2023, Norway has been in 25 finals and is regarded as one of the finest women's national handball teams ever, with 32 medals.

Johan Martin Ferner was a Norwegian sailor and Olympic medalist. He won a silver medal in the 6 metre class with the boat Elisabeth X at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, together with Finn Ferner, Erik Heiberg, Tor Arneberg and Carl Mortensen. He was married to Princess Astrid, the sister of King Harald V of Norway and Princess Ragnhild.
