Bert van Boggelen

Bert van Boggelen is a Dutch politician. From 1985 to 1988 van Boggelen worked for the Goes district of the CNV, the Christian labour movement. He became general secretary of the youth wing and in 1994 he started working on the reorganisation of the vocation centre. On 1 September 1999, he became treasurer for the organisation and on 9 February 2009, he became vice chairman. [1] For the elections in 2010 the GreenLeft candidates commission recommended him for a place in the top 10. [2] From 2 October 2023 until 31 July 2024 he was the acting chairman of Pieter Omtzigt's new party New Social Contract. [3] [4]
