Besat Institute of Higher Education of Kerman is one of centers of higher education in Kerman, this university operates under the supervision of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran. [1]

Kerman is the capital city of Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2011 census, its population was 821,374, in 221,389 households, making it the 10th most populous city of Iran.

Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (Iran)

The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) is the government ministry of science, research and technology in the Islamic Republic of Iran. State-run (non-medical) universities of Iran are under the direct supervision of Iran's Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. The ministry was established in 2000 when the ministry of culture and higher education was renamed as the ministry of science, research and technology.

Khwarizmi International Award

The Khwarizmi International Award is a research award given annually by the President of Iran. The awardees, 10 senior researchers and 10 young researchers, are selected by the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST). It honors "individuals who have made outstanding achievements in research, innovation and invention, in fields related to science and technology". The award is given to the most prominent scientists and engineers, with a recent emphasis on digital and mechanical technologies, and is generally considered as the most prestigious scientific award in Iran. Participation is open to non-Iranian researchers.

Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman (SBUK) is a research institution and university of engineering and science in Iran, offering both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Located in Kerman province of Iran, the university is among the top ten universities and research institutes in Iran, illustrating its high status in research and education. The Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman occupies an area of 5 million square meters, making it one of the largest universities in Iran and the region. In 1980 the Department of Mathematics was awarded the first doctoral degree in mathematics in all of Iran. Moreover, the second and third doctoral candidates in mathematics awarded in the country were also graduates of this department.

Kharazmi University Iranian national heritage site

Kharazmi University is a major institution of higher education in Iran, named after Khwarizmi (780-850c), Persian mathematician, astronomer and geographer, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a variety of disciplines. Kharazmi University is considered as the oldest institution of higher education in Iran. It was established in 1919 as the Central Teachers' Institute and gained university status as Tarbiat Moallem University of Tehran in 1974. It changed its name to Kharazmi University on January 31, 2012. In 2015, the University of Economic Science was merged into Kharazmi University as its faculty of management, faculty of financial sciences and faculty of economics. The university has two main campuses, the main campus including administration offices located in Tehran, another is in the Hesarak district of Karaj.

The 2013–14 season was Damash's 4th season in the Pro League, and their 3rd consecutive season in the top division of Iranian Football and 6th year in existence as a football club. They also competed in the Hazfi Cup. Damash was captained by Mohammad Reza Mahdavi.
