TLC is an American girl group formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1990. The group's best-known line-up was composed of Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. The group enjoyed success during the 1990s, with nine top-ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including four number-one singles: "Creep", "Waterfalls", "No Scrubs", and "Unpretty". The group also recorded four multi-platinum albums, including CrazySexyCool (1994), which received a diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). TLC also became the first R&B group in history to receive the Million certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for FanMail (1999).

The show's name comes from a taunt that Alana hurled at another pageant contestant during her debut in Toddlers and Tiaras, but a sweeping misinterpretation from the general public resulted in Alana being referred to as "Honey Boo Boo Child" instead. The show revolves around Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and her family's adventures in the town of McIntyre, Georgia. The reality series received predominantly negative reviews from television critics during its run.

TLC announced on February 6, 2013, that it ordered an eight episode second season, which premiered on August 28, 2013. Alisha Dunlap, Cassadee, R.D. Dunlap, Bonnie Crow, Alana, Ann Robinson, Torann and Robinson's husband Torey originally appeared on Toddlers & Tiaras. Pete Rose: Hits & Mrs. is an American reality television series on TLC that chronicles the lives of baseball player Pete Rose, his fiancée Kiana Kim, and Kim's two children — Cassie and Ashton. On July 18, 2012, TLC announced the series started production for a six-episode first season. Amy Winter, general manager of TLC, said "This series will open the door into a very modern family dynamic of trying to blend families when your kids are no longer children, and when your private life is in the public spotlight". The series debuted on January 13, 2013. After airing four episodes, it was stated that the last two episodes would be shelved until the 2013 baseball season started. Despite that statement, the final episodes aired on TLC's sister channel Destination America during a Sunday morning marathon and the network has no plans to air any reruns of the series, thus announcing its cancellation.
90 Day Fiancé is an American reality television series on TLC that follows couples who have applied for or received a K-1 visa, available uniquely to foreign fiancés of U.S. citizens, and therefore have 90 days to marry each other. The series debuted on January 12, 2014, and has run for 9 seasons.
My 600-lb Life is an American reality television series that has aired on the TLC television network since 2012. Each episode follows a year in the life of morbidly obese individuals, who usually begin the episode weighing at least 600 pounds (270 kg), and documents their attempts to reduce their weight to a healthy level. Update episodes, called "Where Are They Now?", feature one or more previous patients, picking up a year or more after their original episodes aired.
