Bethan Ellis Owen (born Bangor, Gwynedd) is a Welsh television actress best known for playing the character of Ffion Llewelyn in the Welsh soap Pobol y Cwm . [1]

Born in Bangor, Gwynedd, she is the eldest of two daughters born to Welsh writer and actor Wynford Ellis Owen. [2] Bethan and her sister Ruth were pupils at Ysgol Gyfun Llanhari after the family moving to South Wales when they were children.

Personal life

Her first husband was an ordained minister, with whom she had two daughters: Begw Non and Efa Grug. [3]
