The Betty Brinn Children's Museum is a non-profit children's museum located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The museum is a "hands-on" exhibit based educational museum primarily targeted for children between the ages of 1 and 10. [1] It includes interactive spaces, such as the grocery store in the "Home Town" exhibit, the space to play in the "Kohl's Healthy Kids: It's Your Move!" and the design workshop in the "Be a Maker (BAM) space." [2]
The museum was founded by three women, Therese Binder, Susie Gruenberg and Julie Sattler-Rosene. They raised community funds and were able to open the museum after six years. [3] The official ribbon cutting was on March 30, 1995, and the doors opened to the public on April 4, 1995. [1]
It is named for Betty Brinn, the founder of Managed Health Services. [4] She grew up in over 15 foster homes, so when she became successful, she worked to help low-income women and children get medical insurance and care. [5]
On September 11, 2020, the museum announced plans to relocate to a leased space in Milwaukee Public Museum's new campus along N. Sixth St, between W. McKinley Ave and W. Vliet St. on a site 1 block north of Fiserv Forum. [6] The plans were later dropped in early 2022 due to budget concerns. [7]

The station currently airs an eclectic adult album alternative music format, branded as "88Nine Radio Milwaukee". The station's license is owned by Milwaukee Public Schools, though it is managed and programmed by an outside group, also named Radio Milwaukee. In addition, WYMS airs weekly school board meetings on the over-the-air signal as a condition of MPS leasing the signal to Radio Milwaukee. The station broadcast in the HD Radio format, with its second subchannel carrying a locally-based automated AAA format.
U.S. Bank Center is a skyscraper located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, noted for being the tallest building in the state of Wisconsin, and the tallest building between Chicago and Minneapolis. Standing 601 feet (183 m) and 42 stories tall, the building has a floor area of 1,077,607 sq ft (100,113.0 m2) and it surpassed the Milwaukee City Hall as the tallest building in both the city and the state. Topped off August 29, 1972, and completed in 1973, it was the headquarters for what eventually became Firstar Corporation from 1973 to 2001. The building was designed by Colombian-Peruvian architect Bruce Graham with James DeStefano of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and engineered by Bangladeshi-American structural engineer Fazlur Rahman Khan. As of 2017, the building is home to the headquarters of Foley & Lardner, Robert W. Baird & Company, Sensient Technologies Corporation, and is the Milwaukee office for U.S. Bank, IBM, and CBRE.

The Milwaukee Public Museum (MPM) is a natural and human history museum in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Hop, also known as the Milwaukee Streetcar, is a modern streetcar system in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The 2.1-mile (3.4 km) initial line connects the Milwaukee Intermodal Station and Downtown to the Lower East Side and Historic Third Ward neighborhoods. A 0.4-mile (640 m) Lakefront branch, to the proposed high-rise development The Couture, has been mostly constructed, but is not projected to open until late 2023. Alexander Jacob Lasry is an American businessperson and executive of the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
