Bhagwati Devi Sharma was an Indian social reformer who was the co-founder of AWGP [1] [2] and patron founder of Akhand Jyoti. [3]

Personal life

Bhagvati Devi married Shriram Sharma in 1946. [4] She assisted him in managing All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP) and after his death, she succeeded him as head of AWGP. [5] Her followers call her Mataji (transl.respected mother). [2] [4]

Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya was an Indian author and freedom fighter. He founded All World Gayatri Pariwar and Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. He wrote over 3000 booklets.

Pranav Pandya is Hindu religious leader and physician who is the head of All World Gayatri Pariwar and Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. He is the son-in-law of Shriram Sharma. He is also the member of Yug Nirman Yojana and currently serving as Chief Editor of Akhand Jyoti. In 1997, he attend Hindu New Year festival in United States along with Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

He was died in Phulwari Sharif and laid to rest at Tamtam Padhav in Phulwari Sharif, Patna, Bihar. He is known to be the first sufi saint who came to Phulwari Sharif.
