The Bhubaneswar ITIR is one of the planned 40 "Information Technology Investment Regions" in India. It is proposed over an area of about 40.5 km2 (10000 acres) in Bhubaneswar in the region ecompassing Infocity-I and Infocity-II. [1] The Detailed Project Report (DPR) is being prepared by IL&FS Infrastructures Ltd in collaboration with the state-owned Industrial Infrastructure Development Corp (IDCO). [2]

Pune Metro

Pune Metro is a metro rail based rapid transit system under construction to serve the city of Pune and its Industrial Estate Pimpri Chinchwad in the Indian state of Maharashtra. As of March 2018, the system comprises 3 lines with a total length of 54.58 km. The 16.59-km Line 1 will be elevated between the headquarters of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation in Pimpri to Range Hills, from where it will run underground. Line 2 will run from Vanaz to Ramwadi covering a distance of 14.66 km on an elevated viaduct. Lines 1 and 2 are expected to be operational in 2021. The 23.33-km elevated Line 3 will run from the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjawadi via Balewadi to Shivajinagar. All three lines will align at the Civil Court interchange station.

Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar engineering and technology higher education institute

Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar is a public engineering institution established by the government of India in 2008, located at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011 which establishes the eight new IITs as well as declares IT-BHU as Indian Institute of Technology. The Act was passed in the Lok Sabha on 24 March 2011 and by the Rajya Sabha on 30 April 2012. It started functioning from the campus of IIT Kharagpur on 23 July 2008 and shifted its operation to the city of Bhubaneswar on 22 July 2009.

The Chennai ITIR or "Information Technology Investment Region" is a planned mega city covering an area of about 1,600 km2. It will be a specifically notified zone that will include IT/BPOs, electronics hardware manufacturing units, public utilities, residential areas, social infrastructure and administrative units. The ITIR is bordered by IT corridor and NH4. The NH45 runs through the heart of the proposed city.

The Bangalore-BIAL ITIR is a 50 km2 IT Investment Region that was proposed in 2010 15 km North of Bengaluru International Airport.

The Bhopal Metro is an under construction rapid transit system which for the city of Bhopal, India. The total system consists of 2 corridors covering a distance of 27.87 kilometres (17.32 mi). This project will cost 80 billion (US$1.1 billion) approximately. There will be three types of run – on road, on bridges, and underground in some locations.[3]

The Indore Metro is a rapid transit light metro system which is under construction for the city of Indore, India. The total system consists of 10 corridors covering a distance of 124 kilometres (77 mi). This project will cost approximately 12,000 crore (US$1.7 billion). The cost per km will be 182 crores and total cost is 15,000 crores. There will be three types of run – on road, on bridges, and underground in some locations.

Shimoga Airport airport in India

Shimoga Airport is a greenfield airport to be built at Sogane Village, 8.8 km (5.5 mi) from Shimoga and 8.2 km (5.1 mi) from Bhadravathi in Karnataka, India. The airport was to be built under Public–private partnership (PPP) with the Government of Karnataka (GoK). However, due to delays in project execution, the contract was terminated in January 2015. The Government intends to find another private partner to take up the project.

Rapid Metro Gurgaon rapid transit system serving Gurgaon in the National Capital Region of India

Gurugram Rapid Metro is a metro system serving the city of Gurugram, Haryana, India. The system provides interchange with the Delhi Metro's Yellow Line at Sikandarpur Metro Station. Rapid Metro has a total length of 11.7 kilometres serving 11 stations. The system is fully elevated using standard-gauge tracks. Rapid Metro connects the commercial areas of Gurgaon, and acts as a feeder link to the Delhi Metro.

Nizamabad Airport is a proposed airport near Jakranpalli in Telangana, India. The project site is located on NH-44, 30 kilometres east of Nizamabad. The State Government had proposed to set up regional greenfield airports at Jakranpalli along with other sites in the state in 2008. However, in March 2015, the State Government asked its infrastructure and investment department to put the development of Nizamabad airport on hold due to lack of funds and other issues. Development of the airport will be considered at a later date.
