The Bangladesh Institute of Management Studies (BiMS) is a private postgraduate education institute located at Dhaka, Bangladesh.

History

BiMS was established in 2004. Its first course was Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM) [1] [2]

In 2005, BiMS signed a collaborative agreement with Pearson Edexcel to offer GCEs in Applied subjects. [3]

In 2009, BiMS signed collaborative agreement with Heriot-Watt University. [4]

In 2011, BiMS introduced Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (PGDSCM) which is accredited by CPD Standards Office under Provider of Training Excellence framework. [5]

Programs and courses

Initially BiMS offers Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM) course.

Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing & Brand Management and Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management courses offered by BiMS are currently accredited by American Accreditation Association.

Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management (PGDPM) course has also been awarded accreditation by IQN. [6] BiMS also collaborated with MAPS College Maldives to jointly offer BTEC HND in Accounting course. [7] BiMS has worked as a partner institute of British Council Dhaka. [8]
