Bian Jianxin is a Chinese Paralympic powerlifter. [1] She represented China at the Summer Paralympics in 2000, 2004 and 2008 and in total she won three gold medals. [1] She won the gold medal in the women's 40 kg event in 2000, in the women's 48 kg event in 2004 and in the women's 60 kg event in 2008. [1]
Natalia Dorota Partyka is a Polish table tennis player. Born without a right hand and forearm, she participates in competitions for able-bodied athletes as well as in competitions for athletes with disabilities. Partyka reached the last 32 of the London 2012 Olympic women's table tennis.
Lucy Ogechukwu Ejike is a Nigerian Paralympic powerlifter. She has represented her country at six consecutive Paralympic Games from 2000 in Sydney through to 2021 in Tokyo. She has won medals at each, three gold, two silver and one bronze. She won a further silver medal at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth games women's lightweight category of the Para Powerlifting event behind compatriot Esther Oyema.
Olga Semenova is a Paralympian athlete from Russia competing mainly in category P13 sprint events. She formerly competed in P11 pentathlon events.
El Salvador first competed in the Paralympic Games at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, Australia. It has participated in the Summer Paralympic Games every four years since that time. El Salvador has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics, and until Tokyo 2020, no Salvadorian had won a Paralympic medal. In 2021, Herbert Aceituno became the first athlete to win a medal, earning bronze in powerlifting at the 59 kg category.
The Philippines made its Paralympic Games debut at the 1988 Summer Paralympics in Seoul and has been fielding athletes up to the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro. Its athletes has won two bronze medals; Adeline Dumapong in powerlifting (2000), and Josephine Medina in table tennis (2016). The country has never won a Paralympic gold medal.
Ukraine made its Paralympic Games début at the 1996 Summer Paralympics in Atlanta, with thirty athletes competing in archery, track and field, powerlifting, swimming, and sitting volleyball. Vasyl Lishchynskyy won Ukraine's first Paralympic gold medal, in the shot put, and Ukrainians also won four silver medals and two bronze. Ukrainians had previously participated within the Soviet Union's delegation in 1988, and as part of the Unified Team in 1992. Ukraine, following its independence from the Soviet Union, missed out on the 1994 Winter Games, but made its Winter Paralympics début at the 1998 Winter Games in Nagano. Ukraine has competed at every edition of the Summer and Winter Games since then and have done so with remarkable success.
Aldona Grigaliūnienė is a Paralympian athlete from Lithuania competing mainly in category F37-38 shot put events. She won at the 2004 paralympics but she was beaten to silver in 2008.
Deahnne Mary McIntyre, OAM is an Australian former Paralympic athletics competitor and one of few Australian female powerlifters. She won four medals in the 1988 Seoul Paralympic Games in athletics, and competed in powerlifting from 2000 until her retirement from the sport in January 2011.
Tan Yujiao is a Chinese powerlifter. She won the gold medal at the Women's 67 kg event at the 2016 Summer Paralympics, with 135 kilograms.
Xiao Cuijuan is a Chinese powerlifter. She won the bronze medal at the women's 55 kg event at the 2016 Summer Paralympics, with 115 kilograms. She won the silver medal in the same event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo.
Hu Dandan is a Chinese powerlifter and former wheelchair tennis player. She won the gold medal at the women's 45 kg event at the 2016 Summer Paralympics, with 107 kilograms. She won the gold medal at the women's 50 kg event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, with 120 kilograms.
Amal Mahmoud Osman, also known as Amal Mahmoud Hanafy, is an Egyptian powerlifter who competes on behalf of her country. She has won medals at three successive Summer Paralympics.
Amalia Pérez Vázquez is a Mexican powerlifter in the 44 kilograms (97 lb) - 60 kilograms (130 lb) bracket. She has four times been a Paralympic champion and is the only powerlifter in the world to have Paralympic champion in three divisions.
Khetam Kamal Hasan Abuawad is a Jordanian paralympic athlete who has spina bifida and has won two medals at the Summer Paralympics and has been competing for Jordan internationally since 1998. She is currently ranked world number one in singles class 5 and world number six in teams class.
Patience Aghimile Igbiti is a Nigerian Paralympian coach and former athlete. In 2008, she won the bronze medal in the women's 60 kg powerlifting category at Beijing 2008. After her retirement, she became a Paralympic coach and was part of Team Nigeria's coaching crew for the 2016 Summer Paralympics.
Joanna Mendak is a Polish Paralympic swimmer. She represented Poland at the Summer Paralympics in 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2021. In total, she won three gold medals, one silver medal and two bronze medals at the Summer Paralympics.

She also represented the Russian Paralympic Committee athletes at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan and she won one of the bronze medals in the women's 48 kg event.
Iyabo Ismaila is a Nigerian Paralympic powerlifter. She represented Nigeria at the 2000 Summer Paralympics and at the 2004 Summer Paralympics and she won the gold medal in the women's 48 kg event in 2000. In 2004, she competed in the women's 52 kg event where she did not record a mark.
Perla Patricia Bárcenas is a Mexican Paralympic powerlifter. She represented Mexico at the Summer Paralympics in 2000, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2021 and she won three medals. She won the silver medal in the women's 75 kg event at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, Australia, the bronze medal in the women's 82.5 kg event in 2008 and the bronze medal in the women's +82.5 kg event in 2012.
