bibliotek.dk is a Danish Internet service that allows for search for materials in public Danish libraries. It is a library catalog.

Search targets include books, newspaper and journal articles, LP records, DVD, CD-ROMs, etc. Material from Danish libraries can be requested and sent to the local library.

Dansk BiblioteksCenter (DBC), a state-owned limited liability company, develops and maintains the service.

Johan Ludvig Mansa, was a German-Danish landscape gardener, born April 10, 1740 in Zweibrücken, Germany, where his father was palace gardener. In 1765 he went to Denmark and was gardener at Fuglsang Manor, Lolland. In the 1780s, he was appointed as a gardener and steward of Marienlyst Castle in Helsingør, Denmark and in 1794 as a gardener at Frederiksborg Castle. Finally in 1799 he was employed as a gardener and steward at Fredensborg Palace. The majority of his work was in transforming formal French gardens into English landscape gardens. Some remnants of his works can still be seen on the slope north of Marienlyst Castle in Helsingør as well as a few manors and palaces around Denmark.

Dokk1 or Dokken is a government building, public library and culture center in Aarhus, Denmark. It is situated on Hack Kampmanns Plads in the city center by the waterfront next to the Custom House. Dokk1 is part of the much larger development project Urban Mediaspace Aarhus, jointly financed by Aarhus Municipality and Realdania for 2.1 billion DKK. It is designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects and Kristine Jensen, with construction managed by NCC AB. Construction broke ground 8 June 2011 and the building was inaugurated four years later on 20 June 2015.

Ingrid Vibeke Ammundsen née Simonsen (1913–1988) was a Danish librarian who was active in the research library sector. From 1957, she headed Denmark's Technical Library where she introduced computerized search systems in the early 1960s. When the library moved to Lyngby in 1971 to serve the Technical University of Denmark, she broke new ground for research libraries by introducing open shelves for books and journals, allowing visitors direct access to the library's holdings. In the 1970s, she proposed and headed the DANDOK database system for scientific and technical information.
