Bill Carr (born c. 1965) is an American former basketball coach who recently was the head women's basketball coach at Santa Clara University. [1] [2] He currently serves as General Manager for the University of California, San Diego men's and women's basketball programs. [3] He was previously the head men's basketball coach at Point Loma Nazarene University, and also had head coaching stints at Spring Hill College and UC San Diego. [4] Prior to Santa Clara, Carr had spent the entirety of his career coaching men's basketball.

The Big West Conference (BWC) is an American collegiate athletic conference whose member institutions participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The conference was originally formed on July 1, 1969, as the Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA), and in 1988 was renamed the Big West Conference. The conference stopped sponsoring college football after the 2000 season.

Kyle Andrew Smith is an American college basketball coach who is the men's head coach for the Stanford Cardinal of the ACC. Prior to joining the Cardinal, Smith was the head coach at Columbia University, the University of San Francisco, and Washington State University. In his final season at Columbia, he led the team to a CIT Championship over UC Irvine. His coaching style has been dubbed “Nerdball”, which is a system that utilizes analytics to track and make decisions on many aspects about the team.

The 2014–15 West Coast Conference men's basketball season will begin with practices in October 2014 and end with the 2015 West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament at the Orleans Arena March 6–10, 2015 in Paradise, Nevada. The regular season will begin in November, with the conference schedule starting at the end of December.
Allen Lamont Smith is an American former college basketball coach, who was most recently an assistant coach at the University of Texas at El Paso for the UTEP Miners men's basketball team. He was previously the head coach at his alma mater University of San Diego, which he left in March 2018. Smith resigned from UTEP in March 2019 after the University of San Diego revealed that Smith was accused of accepting a bribe in the 2019 college admissions bribery scandal.
The 2017–18 Santa Clara Broncos women's basketball team represented Santa Clara University in the 2017–18 college basketball season. The Broncos were led by second year head coach Bill Carr. The Broncos were members of the West Coast Conference and played their home games at the Leavey Center. They finished the season 9–21, 5–13 in WCC play to finish in a tie for eighth place. They lost in the first round of the WCC women's tournament to Pepperdine.

Stacie Lynne Terry-Hutson is an American basketball coach and former player who is currently the head women's basketball coach at San Diego State University.
The 2021–22 West Coast Conference men's basketball season began with practices in September 2021 and ended with the 2022 West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament in March 2022. This will be the 71st season for WCC men's basketball, and the 33rd under its current name of "West Coast Conference". The conference was founded in 1952 as the California Basketball Association, became the West Coast Athletic Conference in 1956, and dropped the word "Athletic" in 1989.
The 2022 BYU Cougars softball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2022 NCAA Division I softball season. Gordon Eakin entered the year as head coach of the Cougars for a 20th consecutive season. 2022 was the ninth season for the Cougars as members of the WCC in softball. The Cougars entered 2022 having won their last 12 conference championships and having been picked as the favorites to win the 2022 WCC title.
