English was raised Honeoye Falls, New York, a small village outside of Rochester, New York.
He is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts. [1]
English has performed on Broadway with Anne Heche and Alec Baldwin in 20th Century. In February 2012, he took over the lead role of Billy Crocker in the 2011 revival of Anything Goes. [2]
He starred in Cavemen in 2007 and had guest roles on Melrose Place (CW), Person of Interest (CBS) among others.
English had the role of Chris in the 2012 film The Last Day of August .

Cavemen is an American sitcom that aired on ABC from October 2 to November 13, 2007. The show was developed by Joe Lawson, Josh Gordon and Will Speck, based on the GEICO Cavemen TV commercials, which were also written by Lawson. It was described by the network as a "unique buddy comedy that offers a clever twist on stereotypes and turns race relations on its head", and is set in San Diego, California. Despite this, the show earned an extremely negative reception, becoming regarded as one of the worst television shows of all time.
