Bill Evo (born February 21, 1954) is an American lawyer and a former professional ice hockey player and executive.
Evo played major junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League with the Peterborough Petes from 1971 to 1974. He was selected by the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL) in the third round (45th overall) of the 1974 NHL amateur draft, and was also drafted by the Cincinnati Stingers in the second round (22nd overall) of the 1974 WHA Secret Amateur Draft. Between 1974 and 1976, Evo played 97 games in the World Hockey Association, with the Michigan Stags/Baltimore Blades (team moved mid-season), Edmonton Oilers and Cleveland Crusaders, scoring 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points, while earning 85 penalty minutes.
Evo was appointed the president of the Detroit Red Wings in September 1995, [1] but resigned on July 23, 1996, after serving just 10 months at the Red Wing's helm. [2]
Evo graduated from the University of Western Ontario, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit Law School. [3]

The two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Philadelphia Flyers made the most noise at the draft, trading Bill Clement, Don McLean, and the 18th overall pick to the Washington Capitals for the number one overall selection, which they used to select Mel Bridgman. Later in round nine the Flyers became the first NHL team to select a Soviet-born and trained player in the amateur draft, selecting Latvian Viktor Khatulev 160th pick overall.
James Edward Nill is a Canadian former ice hockey player and the current general manager of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nill played in the NHL throughout the 1980s with the St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks, Boston Bruins, Winnipeg Jets, and Detroit Red Wings, retiring in 1990. Prior to making his NHL debut Nill also played for Canada at the 1980 Winter Olympics. He worked as a scout for the Ottawa Senators before joining the Red Wings in an executive role in 1994, staying with the team before moving to take up the general manager role with Dallas in 2013.

William Alexander "Whip" Lochead is a retired ice hockey forward and current hockey player agent. He started his junior hockey career in 1969–70 with the Sarnia Bees of OHA Western Jr. B league. In 1970-71 he established the current Western Jr. B goal scoring record of 72 goals in 42 games. Lochead was drafted 2nd overall to the OHA Oshawa Generals in 1971. He was then drafted 1st by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1974 NHL draft. He was also selected 3rd by the Indianapolis Racers in the 1974 WHA draft. He was known as Billy Lochead during his playing days in the NHL and was nicknamed "Whip".
Darren Joseph Eliot is a Canadian sports broadcaster and a former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played 88 games in the National Hockey League for the Los Angeles Kings, Detroit Red Wings, and Buffalo Sabres between 1984 and 1989. Internationally he played for the Canadian national team at the 1984 Winter Olympics. He currently serves as Vice President of Hockey Programming and Facility Operations for the Vegas Golden Knights.
