In the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, a governor is the constitutional head of each of the seven provinces. The governor is appointed by the President of Nepal recommended by federal cabinet for a term of five years, and holds office at the President's pleasure. Sajjan Raj Vaidya is a Nepalese singer, songwriter, guitarist, composer, and producer based in New York City. He released his debut single, "Aaja Matra", in 2014 and rose to prominence after the release of his singles "Hawaijahaj" (2016) and "Chitthi Bhitra" (2018). One of his most widely known singles is "Hataarindai, Bataasindai". His release, titled "BLYHL", was released in February 2020. His song, "Phutki Janey Jovan" released on 16 May 2020 shows various clips of people during the COVID-19 pandemic all around the world, with a special emphasis on Nepali people. He then released "Lukaamaari" on January 1, 2021. After 3 months of "Lukaamaari", he released his next song, "Ultaa Paailaa". He also released the songs "Parkhaai" and "Naganya Maya" by the while, recently he released his two new singles "Sasto Mutu" and "Ek Sarvanaam" at the beginning of 2022. In the recent past through his live concert, he has been found singing his new song "Dhairya" Which is predicted to be released by the 10th of September, 2022 at the instance of his own birthday.

Shatru Gate is a 2018 Nepalese drama comedy film, directed by Pradip Bhattarai and written by Deepak Raj Giri, Pradeep Bhattari and Hari Bansha Acharya. The film is produced by Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula, Narendra Kansakar and Shivahari Poudel under the banner of MaHa Sanchar. The film stars ensemble cast of Madan Krishna Shrestha, Hari Bansha Acharya, Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula, Priyanka Karki, Paul Shah, Aanchal Sharma. The film was released on 23 March 2018 with mixed response from critics but positive response from audience. The film became an "All Time Blockbuster" at the box office with gross of over रु 12 Crore making it the fourth-highest-grossing Nepali film at 2018.

Bulbul is a 2019 Nepalese film that Binod Poudel directed and wrote. Abeeral Thapa, Bhim Thapa, Raju Paudel, and Purushottam Pandey produced the film under the banner of Awaken Production. The film stars Swastima Khadka, and Mukun Bhusal in the lead roles. The story line is about a woman who drives tempo for a living in Kathmandu. The film was released on 15 February 2019. It was selected as the Nepalese entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.
