Birthmarks is the third studio album by Canadian rock band Born Ruffians, released on April 16, 2013, by Paper Bag Records in Canada and Yep Roc Records worldwide. [1] The band released a limited edition deluxe version of the album on March 25, 2014 that included a second disc with outtakes, unreleased tracks and acoustic versions. [2]

Born Ruffians are a Canadian indie rock band formed in 2004, originally from Midland, Ontario, located near Georgian Bay. They are currently signed to Yep Roc Records and Paper Bag Records. The members are Luke Lalonde (guitar/vocals), Mitch Derosier (bass), Andy Lloyd (guitar/keyboard) and Steve Hamelin (drums).

Paper Bag Records is a Canadian independent record label, artist-management company and music publisher, founded in 2002 and based in Toronto, Ontario.

Yep Roc Records US record label

Yep Roc Records is an American independent record label based in Hillsborough, North Carolina, and owned by Redeye Distribution. Since 1997, the label has released albums from North Carolina and international artists, including Aoife O'Donovan, Chatham County Line, Dave Alvin, Chuck Prophet, Gang of Four, Los Straitjackets, Nick Lowe, Paul Weller, Robyn Hitchcock, Ryan Adams, The Apples in Stereo, The Reverend Horton Heat, Mandolin Orange, and Tift Merritt.
