Bislett is a neighbourhood in the St. Hanshaugen borough in north-central Oslo, Norway. It is internationally famous for the Bislett Games, held at Bislett Stadium.

Bislett has also become known to non-Norwegians due to being the home of the fictional detective Harry Hole, whose exploits have been translated into numerous languages.

Bislett is Norway's most well known sports arena internationally, with 15 speed skating world records and more than 50 track and field world records having been set here. The original stadium was demolished in 2004 and construction of a new stadium was completed by the summer of 2005. The New Bislett Stadium was designed by C.F. Møller Architects.

Carl Berners plass is a square in Oslo, Norway. It is located in the borough Helsfyr, south of Sinsen. The Sinsen Line of the Oslo Tramway runs over the square. The colloquial expression for the square is just "Carl Berner". Around the square is a large number of shops as well as inexpensive restaurants. At the southern end of the area is the large Tøyen Park.

Ropotamo Glacier is a glacier extending 900 m (3,000 ft) from northeast to southwest and 600 m (2,000 ft) from northwest to southeast on the Burgas Peninsula, Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The glacier is northeast of Dobrudzha Glacier, east-southeast of Iskar Glacier, south of Sopot Ice Piedmont and southwest of Strandzha Glacier. It is bounded by Asen Peak and Delchev Peak to the northwest and north, and flows southeastwards mostly into Yantra Cove, Bransfield Strait.

The German School of Oslo is a German-language school in Oslo, Norway and is led by Oliver Schaefer. It is located in Sporveisgata 20 at Bislett, and was opened in 1980. In the beginning, the school was located in the basement of the German Protestant Community of Oslo in Eilert Sundts gate 37, before it moved to Majorstuen School. In 1998, the DSO moved from Majorstuen to the disused Hegdehaugen Upper Secondary School, where it has been ever since.

William Thomas State Forest is a 1,660-acre (670 ha) state forest in the town of Hill, New Hampshire, in the United States. It is named for Harvard University class of 1945 graduate and B-24 Liberator pilot William H. Thomas Jr. who used his discharge pay to acquire 60 wooded acres and subsequently expanded his holdings to about 1,700. He had visions of a resort development, but retreated to the area in 1987 and donated the lands to the state of New Hanpshire when he died in 2001. The area reportedly has some double track but no single track trails.
