Biyaheng Langit (English: The Heavenly Voyage) is a current affairs program which airs the many Overseas Filipino Workers from the Philippines. Biyaheng Langit is aired every Friday at 10:45 pm to 11:00 pm PST over the People's Television Network and is produced by Heavenly Images Productions for Television, Inc.

The Philippines, officially the Republic of the Philippines, is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia. People's Television Network is the flagship public television network owned by the Philippine Government. Founded in 1974, PTV is the main brand of People's Television Network, Inc. (PTNI), one of the attached agencies under the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO). PTV, along with sister media companies Radio Philippines Network (minority-owned) and Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation, as well as radio network Philippine Broadcasting Service, forms the media arm of the PCOO. Its head office, studios and transmitter are located at Broadcast Complex, Visayas Avenue, Barangay Vasra, Diliman, Quezon City.

Reynante "Rey" Magat Langit is a Filipino journalist. He is a longtime columnist for Philippine newspapers Tempo, Balita, People's Tonight, and Pilipino Mirror. He is also the main anchorman for the nationally aired program over AM Radio station DZRJ 810 kHz in Mega Manila. He currently hosts two weekly public affairs television programs, Kasangga Mo Ang Langit and Biyaheng Langit, which airs every Sunday evenings on PTV-4.

The show has been hosted by Rey Langit following his failed senatorial bid in the 1998 Presidential Elections through the Partido para sa Demokratikong Reporma–Lapiang Manggagawa (Reporma–LM). His first co-hosts were the late Reyster Langit, who died of heart failure due to cerebral malaria, a disease he contracted in Palawan while he was on assignment, [1] and Sarah Balabagan, who was known for her trial in the United Arab Emirates. They were replaced by Reyster's surviving brother, Reynante "JR" Langit, Jr.

The Partido para sa Demokratikong Reporma or commonly known as Reporma (Reform) is a political party in the Philippines.

Sarah Balabagan-Sereno is a Filipina who was imprisoned in the United Arab Emirates from 1994–1996 for murder. She was initially sentenced to death, but was later returned to the Philippines. Her story was made into a controversial film in 1997.

History

Biyaheng Langit was first aired on April 8, 2000, via Radio Philippines Network. Rey Langit, who had an unsuccessful senatorial bid in the 1998 Presidential Elections through the Partido para sa Demokratikong Reporma–Lapiang Manggagawa (Reporma–LM) two years ago, was joined by his late son Reyster Langit [2] and Sarah Balabagan.

Radio Philippines Network, Inc. (RPN) is a Filipino-based television and radio company based in Quezon City. It is the flagship media property of Nine Media Corporation of the ALC Group of Companies; along with the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), and Far East Managers and Investors Inc., owned by the family of company founder Roberto Benedicto, among others, as major shareholders. The network's main offices and transmitter is located at Panay Avenue, Brgy. South Triangle also in Quezon City. Founded by Roberto Benedicto and prior to the privatization, it was the sister station of current government owned and controlled Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation. RPN, along with sister media companies People's Television Network and Philippine Broadcasting Service, forms the media arm of the PCOO.

On June 3, 2005 Reyster died of heart failure due to cerebral malaria, a disease he contracted while on assignment in Palawan for Kasangga Mo Ang Langit . [3] Following his death, Rey's surviving son, JR, has since joined him not only for Biyaheng Langit but also for Kasangga Mo Ang Langit .

Kasangga Mo Ang Langit is a current affairs program which airs the different issues in the Philippines. Kasangga Mo Ang Langit is aired every Friday at 10:30 pm to 10:45 pm PST over the People's Television Network and is produced by Heavenly Images Productions for Television, Inc.

People Power Coalition

People Power Coalition(PPC) was the Philippine administration's political multi-party electoral alliance in the May 14, 2001 midterm Legislative elections. The coalition was created after the EDSA Revolution of 2001 that ousted Joseph Estrada from the presidency on January 20. Roy Señeres politician (1947-2016)

Roy Villareal Señeres was a Filipino statesman and diplomat who initially ran in the 2016 Philippine presidential election under the Partido ng Manggagawa at Magsasaka party before withdrawing on February 5, 2016, three days before his death. Señeres was elected as a member of the Philippine House of Representatives representing the OFW Family Club party-list in the 2013 general elections. He is the father of former congressman Christian Señeres.
