Black Dragons Erfurt is an ice hockey team based in Erfurt, the capital of Thuringia, Germany. The team currently plays in the Oberliga North, the third-highest level of ice hockey in Germany. It is the top team of the larger Eis Hockey Club Erfurt e.V. [1]
The team plays at the 4,000-seat Eissportzentrum Erfurt, referred to locally as the Kartoffelhalle (Potato Hall). In 2020 the city of Erfurt approved a major expansion and renovation of the venue. [2]
Though EHC Erfurt was founded in 1995, the Black Dragons began play in 2006. [3]

The Raiders are an ice hockey team based in Romford, participating in the National Division of the National Ice Hockey League (NIHL), the second tier of British ice hockey.
The Oberliga is the third tier of ice hockey in Germany, below DEL2 and ahead of the Regionalliga. Since the 2015/16 season, the league has been split into two regionalised divisions, Nord (north) and Süd (south). The Oberliga was originally founded in 1948 and is administered by the German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB).

Kyle Beach is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Considered a top National Hockey League (NHL) prospect, he was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Beach never played in the NHL, however, only spending time with minor league affiliates in the American Hockey League (AHL) from 2008 to 2014. In 2021, Beach came forward that he was sexually assaulted by a Blackhawks coach during their 2010 Stanley Cup championship season and filed legal action against the team for failing to intervene.
The Austrian women's national under 18 ice hockey team is the national under-18 ice hockey team in Austria. The team represents Austria at the International Ice Hockey Federation's Ice Hockey U18 Women's World Championship.
SC Riessersee is a professional ice hockey team based in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Oberbayern, Germany. They currently play in The Oberliga, the third level of ice hockey in Germany. Robert Leask is a Canadian-German ice hockey coach and former professional ice hockey defenceman who played primarily in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Born in North York, Ontario, Leask was granted German citizenship in 2004.

The Iran national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Iran. The team was founded in June 2016, is controlled by the Islamic Republic of Iran Skating Federation, and on 26 September 2019, became an associate member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Iran made its debut in the IIHF World Championship in 2022. As of 2022, Iran is ranked 56th in the IIHF World Ranking.
Maximilian Siegfried Franz Dimitrovici, aka Maximilian Dimitrovici, is a German ice hockey defenceman. Currently, he plays in the Turkish Ice Hockey Super League for Zeytinburnu BS. The 1.88 m tall player at 81 kg (179 lb) shoots left-handed.
The 2012-13 Oberliga season was the 54th season for the Oberliga, the third-level ice hockey league in Germany. It was divided into four groups. Rote Teufel Bad Nauheim won the championship. A total of 39 teams participated.
Michael Hammond was a British professional ice hockey centre. Between 2015 and 2023, he played for 10 teams across the ECHL, Elite Ice Hockey League, DEL2, Metal Ligaen, and Oberliga. Hammond was also a member of the Great Britain men's national ice hockey team.
The 2019/20 Oberliga season was the 61st season of the Oberliga, the third-tier of German ice hockey. The Oberliga operated with two regional leagues, North and South. 24 teams competed in the season that spanned from 28 September 2019 till 11 March 2020. The regular season and championship playoff qualifiers was completed, but the season was then cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the remainder of the Oberliga season was cancelled by DEB. The championship playoffs were not contested so no Oberliga champion was named. There was also no sporting promotion or relegation, with ERC Sonthofen the only team to be relegated due to the club entering insolvency. Tilburg Trappers were crowned Oberliga North premiers, while Eisbären Regensburg were crowned Oberliga South premiers.
The 2018–19 Oberliga season was the 60th season of the Oberliga, the third tier of German ice hockey. The Oberliga operated with two regional leagues, North and South. 25 teams competed in the season that lasted from 21 September 2018 till 30 April 2019. The Tilburg Trappers and EC Peiting won the North and South premierships respectively. EV Landshut was crowned Oberliga champion for winning the playoffs, and by doing so they also secured promotion to DEL2. EHC Waldkraiburg, EC Harzer Falken, and ECC Preussen Berlin were all relegated to the Regionalliga.
