Bloomsburg Area High School is a small, rural and suburban public high school located at 1200 Railroad Street, Bloomsburg. In 2014, Bloomsburg Area High School reported an enrollment of 422 pupils in grades 9th through 12th. [1]

It is the sole high school operated by Bloomsburg Area School District. High school aged students have the choice of attending Bloomsburg Area High School, attending a cyber charter school or transferring to the Columbia-Montour Area Vocational-Technical School which is a regional technical school for training in the trades.

Columbia-Montour Area Vocational-Technical School is located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a full-time area vocational-technical school that serves the youth of Columbia and Montour counties in Pennsylvania. CMAVTS offers 17 training areas to secondary students in grades 9 through 12. In ninth grade, students are put through an exploratory program where they go through four programs through the course of a school year. In tenth grade they choose their "major" to focus on, up until graduation in 12th grade. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, in 2010, the school reported an enrollment of 633 pupils. The school employed 43.5 teachers yielding a student teacher ratio of 14:1.

Kinney Run, also known as Kinney's Run, is a tributary of the Susquehanna River in Scott Township and Bloomsburg, Columbia County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 3.1 miles (5.0 km) long. Some of the first settlers to the Kinney Run area arrived in 1769. There are a number of wetlands and one bog, which is called the Espy Bog, in the stream's watershed.

Susq-Cyber Charter School is a small, public, cyber charter school whose headquarters are located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. The school offers grades 9th through 12th. Students residing in any region of Pennsylvania may enroll in the school. The curriculum and instruction is internet based. Teachers are available to pupils, during traditional school day hours via phone and internet. Susq-Cyber Charter School is one of 14 public, cyber charter schools operating in Pennsylvania in 2014. In 2016, enrollment was reported as 103 pupils in 9th through 12th grades. All students are assigned a Distance Learning Monitor who checks their progress and remains in contact with them through emails, on-line chats through the programs or by phone. Teachers are available to tutor students, to review their problem areas, and to set up plans for achievement that the student can follow between tutoring sessions. Tutoring sessions may be held on line using Elluminate or teachers may meet with students either at the testing centers or at various locations throughout the state which include libraries in the students home area, at university library facilities or at community centers.
