Blue Note Hawaii is a jazz club in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii. Part of the world-renowned Blue Note chain, it opened on January 14, 2016, with Kenny G performing for several days. It features live jazz and blues music and also popular Hawaiian musical artists. Located in the former Society of Seven showroom inside Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, Blue Note Hawaii features a year-round lineup of musical entertainment – from local talent to international sensations – for limited engagements. The performance venue had an extensive, multi-million-dollar revitalization and features new décor and a state-of-the-art sound and light system. The 9,000 square-foot facility was designed by local architecture and interior design firm InForm Design [1] , and seats over 300 patrons, showcasing two performances nightly in an intimate setting – seven days a week, 365 days a year. The Neal S. Blaisdell Center near downtown Honolulu, Hawaii is a community center for the City & County of Honolulu. Constructed in 1964 on the historic Ward Estate and originally called the Honolulu International Center, the center was renamed after Mayor of Honolulu Neal S. Blaisdell, who oversaw its construction. The multi-purpose complex is composed of an internationally renowned arena, concert hall, conference rooms, galleria and exhibition hall. It was remodeled and expanded in 1994. The complex is overseen by the City's Department of Enterprise Services which also oversees the Waikiki Shell. The City is seeking to redevelop the site with extensive stakeholder and public involvement to assess the community’s goals. Implementation of this plan will require significant investment by the City and its partners over the coming years, and the outcome will be an iconic symbol of the City and County of Honolulu.

Society of Seven is a variety troupe that performs a variety show of the same name. Formed in the early 1960s as a pop group named The Fabulous Echoes, the group released a number of records in Asia, recording with the Hong Kong-based Diamond Records. Their version of "A Little Bit of Soap" was #1 for 32 weeks on the Hong Kong charts, as well as being a hit in neighboring countries. That started a string of hits, and they had a double hit with "Dancing on the Moon" and "Sunshine".
Blue Note Jazz Club is a jazz club and restaurant located at 131 West 3rd Street in Greenwich Village, New York City. The club was opened on September 30, 1981, by owner and founder Danny Bensusan, with the Nat Adderley Quintet being the featured performers for the night. The club’s performance schedule features shows every evening at 8:00 pm and 10:30 pm and a Sunday jazz brunch with performances at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm.
