Bob Pugh was a Welsh professional footballer who played for Newport County and Nottingham Forest
In 1929 Pugh was selected for the Football Association of Wales tour of Canada but these matches were not classed as international cap matches. [1] His Newport County teammate Albert 'Nippy' Wardell was also selected for the tour. Pugh and Tommy Lewis of New Brighton were the only two players in the squad not to attain full international caps either before or after the tour. He was transferred to Nottingham Forest in January 1931.
Nottingham Forest Football Club is an association football club based in West Bridgford, Nottingham, England. The club was founded in 1865 and have played their home games at the City Ground, on the south bank of the River Trent in Nottingham, since 1898. Dr. Tinsley Lindley OBE was an English footballer. He was described as "an ideal centre forward". He scored three goals in his debut aged 16 for Nottingham Forest. He was an amateur who did not wear football boots but scored 14 goals for England in 13 internationals Lindley was given an O.B.E. in January 1918 for his work during World War I and in 1935 he was also awarded the King George V Silver Jubilee Medal. On retirement from football, Lindley turned his attention to his law practice, having been called to the Bar in 1899 while still playing.
John Prescott McGovern is a Scottish former association football midfielder and manager. McGovern is most famous for captaining the Nottingham Forest side that won the European Cup twice under the management of Brian Clough, whom he played under at four clubs, and Peter Taylor.

Jeff Thomas is a Welsh former professional footballer. A pacey winger, he progressed through the youth team at Newport County making his first team debut in 1965. He went on to make 209 appearances for Newport scoring 31 goals before retiring in 1973.
James Henry Linacre was an English professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper and who was one of three members of the same family who started his professional career with Derby County before joining Nottingham Forest and going on to play for England.
