The fourth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar was aired on German channel RTL from February to May 2007. Mark Medlock, the season's winner, was awarded a contract with Sony BMG. The judges in this season were Dieter Bohlen, Heinz Henn, Anja Lukaseder. It was hosted by Marco Schreyl and Tooske Ragas. The viewers chose the contestant's fates as they were able to call for their favorite contestant. The voting results were published on 7 May. The winner got a 10-year contract and €100,000. Twenty percent went to the winner's manager who was chosen by the creators.

VriendenLoterij Miljonairs is a Dutch game show based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. The show is hosted by Robert ten Brink. In 2011 the show was hosted by Jeroen van der Boom. The main goal of the game is to win €1 Million by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. It has been shown from 6 February 1999. From 6 February 1999 to February 2006, it was shown on SBS 6, and from 4 March 2006 to 24 May 2008, it was shown on RTL 4. In 2011 it returned on SBS 6.

<i>Való Világ</i> Hungarian TV series or program

Való Világ is Hungary's reality show aired by RTL. ValóVilág became the most popular Hungarian reality television program ever. The show was aired in the same time slot as the localized version of Big Brother. While TV2 recorded the highest number of viewers in 2002, Való Világ 1 had an average of 1.5 million. In 2003, Való Világ 2 was a breakthrough. While it had 1.75 million viewers daily, Big Brother 2 recorded only 800,000 viewers. RTL started the third season, which was an absolute success with 2.06 million viewers daily. The first three seasons were broadcast between 2002 and 2004 but returned in November 2010 for the fourth season after years of hiatus.

Survivor – A sziget is the Hungarian version of the Survivor game show, which was broadcast on RTL Klub. Its host was András Stohl. Two seasons were broadcast from September 2003 to December 2004. The prize for the sole survivors was 10,000,000 Ft and a Honda car. In 2017 RTL Klub decided to bring back the series with the new season premiering on 28 August 2017 with a new host, Bence Istenes.

Expedition Robinson was the Central European version of Expedition Robinson. The name alludes to both Robinson Crusoe and The Swiss Family Robinson, two stories featuring people marooned by shipwrecks.

DSDS Kids was the only season of the kids version of Deutschland sucht den Superstar. Broadcaster RTL announced on 13 March 2012 that there will be a kids edition of DSDS for children between the ages of 4 and 14. Parents had up until 31 March 2012 to register their children. The first show was scheduled to start on 5 May 2012 at 20:15. Dieter Bohlen, Michelle Hunziker and Dana Schweiger were named to the jury and Daniel Aßmann served as the host.

The eleventh season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar was broadcast on German channel RTL from 8 January to 3 May 2014. The winner received a recording contract with Universal Music Group and €500,000. Participants had to be between 16 and 30 years old and could audition in 30 cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Kenneth "Kay One" Glöckler, Mieze Katz and Marianne Rosenberg served as the judges.

The German television mystery music game show I Can See Your Voice premiered the inaugural shortlived first season on RTL as a two-night pilot episode on 18 and 19 August 2020.

Princess Charming is a German reality dating show that premiered on May 25, 2021, streaming on premium sector of RTL+ and began airing on October 29, 2021, on television on VOX. It is streaming on RTL+, operated by the RTL media group, in German. The show features women-identifying and non-binary contestants and is modeled after Prince Charming. Princess Charming was hailed as an example of German TV shows becoming more inclusive by Deutsche Welle.
