ASEAN Para Games

The ASEAN Para Games is a biannual multi-sport event held after every Southeast Asian Games involving disabled athletes from the current 11 Southeast Asia countries. Participating athletes have a variety of disabilities ranging from spastic, cerebral palsy, mobility disabilities, visual disabilities, amputated to intellectual disabilities. The ASEAN Para Games is under the regulation of the ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF) with supervision by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the Asian Paralympic Committee and is traditionally hosted by the country where the Southeast Asian Games took place.

Asian Para Games Multi-sport event

The Asian Para Games also known as Para Asiad is a multi-sport event regulated by the Asian Paralympic Committee that's held every four years after every Asian Games for athletes with physical disabilities. Both events had adopted the strategy used by the Olympic and Paralympic Games of having both games in the same city. However, the exclusion of Asian Para Games from Asian Games host city contract meant that both events run independently of each other. The Games are recognized by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and are described as the second largest multi-sport event after the Paralympic Games.

Boccia at the 2012 Summer Paralympics was held in the ExCeL from 2 September to 8 September, with a maximum of 104 athletes competing in seven events. There were four individual events, two pair events, and one team event.

2022 Winter Paralympics Multi-parasport event in Beijing, China

The 2022 Winter Paralympics, officially known as the XIII Paralympic Winter Games and commonly known as the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Games, are an international winter multi-sport parasports event scheduled to take place in Beijing, People's Republic of China, from 4 to 13 March 2022. Beijing was selected as host city in 2015 at the 128th IOC Session in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, marking its second time hosting the Paralympics, and the last of three consecutive Paralympics hosted in East Asia. Having previously hosted the 2008 Summer Paralympics, Beijing is the first city to host the Summer and Winter Paralympics. The venues for the Games were concentrated upon Beijing, its suburb Yanqing District, and Zhangjiakou, with some events repurposing venues originally built for Beijing 2008. China will become the third country in Asia to host the Winter Paralympics after Japan and South Korea.

Pedro Cordero Martín is a Spanish boccia player. He represented Spain at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Summer Paralympics, winning a bronze medal at both the 2004 and 2008 games in the BC1-BC2 boccia team event.

Verónica Pamiés Morera is a Spanish boccia player, who has represented the country internationally at the Paralympic Games.

2015 ASEAN Para Games

The 2015 ASEAN Para Games, officially known as the 8th ASEAN Para Games, was a Southeast Asian disabled multi-sport event hosted by the city-state of Singapore. Unlike the previous editions the games were held six months after the closing of the 2015 Southeast Asian Games from 3 to 9 December 2015. This was Singapore's first time as host of the ASEAN Para Games.

The 2017 Asian Youth Para Games, also known as the 3rd Asian Youth Para Games was a third edition of multi-sport event for Asian athletes with disability. This event was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Participants are expected from 11 countries in Southeast Asia. The games are patterned after the Paralympics.
