Geordi La Forge is a fictional character who appeared in all seven seasons of the American science fiction television series Star Trek: The Next Generation and its four feature films as well as the third season of Star Trek: Picard. Portrayed by LeVar Burton, he served as helmsman of the USS Enterprise-D in the first season, then occupied the role of the chief engineer for the rest of the series and in the films. A lap dance is a type of erotic dance performance offered in some strip clubs in which the dancer typically has body contact with a seated patron. Lap dancing is different from table dancing, in which the dancer is close to a seated patron, but without body contact. With lap dancing, the dancer may be naked, topless, erotically dressed or undressing during the dance, depending on the laws of the jurisdiction and the club's policies. Some jurisdictions don't allow nudity where alcohol is served or contact occurs while in others nudity is only allowed where skin contact doesn't occur requiring at least one of the participants to wear clothing. Where specific licensing exist for sex work such as prostitution the dress requirements may also be dependent of the licensing of the establishment.
3-2-1 Contact is an American science educational television show produced by the Children's Television Workshop. It aired on PBS from 1980 to 1988 and later ran on Noggin from 1999 to 2002. The show teaches scientific principles and their applications. Dr. Edward G. Atkins, who was responsible for much of the scientific content of the show, felt that the TV program would not replace a classroom but would encourage viewers to ask questions about the scientific purpose of things.
