History

The production partnership of Guy Martin and Andrew Phillips was first formed in 2003. The duo created music with Rosko John of Archive and original Scratch Perverts member First Rate, playing their first gigs at The Forum Tunbridge Wells

Bombay Monkey went on to release a series of three, mainly instrumental, electronic albums during the period 2004–2008, with various guest singers and musicians including scratch DJ and producer Mr Thing.

Dave Tonkinsmith (vocals) came on board in 2013 and as the band worked on a series of songs for the album release Dark Flow released on BBE Barely Breaking Even Records in 2014. [1] CJ Thorpe (bass guitar) joined the band in 2016 after performing together at a David Bowie tribute concert.

They are recognizable on stage by their unique custom sun-goggles [2] which, along with their distinctive logo, were created by Brighton-based artist Mark Culmer aka Medina.

The Herbaliser's album Same As It Never Was was their first release on !K7 Records. Their latest album Bring Out The Sound was released in 2018, on the BBE label.

Steve Angello Greek-Swedish DJ, record producer, remixer and record label owner

Steven Patrik Josefsson Fragogiannis, better known by his stage name Steve Angello, is a Greek-Swedish DJ, record producer, remixer and record label owner. He is a member of Swedish House Mafia, together with Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso.

Barely Breaking Even (BBE) is a British record label started by two DJs, Peter Adarkwah and Ben Jolly. The name BBE comes from The Universal Robot Band's 1982 track "Barely Breaking Even". It has two sublabels: Deep Funk, and Urban Theory. BBE is also notable for its Beat Generation series of LPs.

The Shining is the third studio album by American hip hop producer and rapper J Dilla, who died on February 10, 2006. The Shining was incomplete at the time of J Dilla's passing and was posthumously completed by producer Karriem Riggins. Discounting the instrumental album Donuts, The Shining was the first full-length solo release by J Dilla since Welcome 2 Detroit five years earlier, and as such was highly anticipated. It was released on August 22, 2006 through BBE Records. An instrumental version of the album followed its release shortly afterward.

Gaudi's distinctive production sound appears in a number of name act's albums nominated for Awards and prizes such as: Grammy Award 2019 -Best Reggae Album Of The Year- for 'Mass Manipulation' by Steel Pulse and BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music 2008 for the album 'Dub Qawwali' by Gaudi & Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Boris Daenen, better known by his stage name Netsky, is a Belgian drum and bass producer and musician. The name Netsky is based on the computer virus of the same name.

Disclosure (band) Band

Disclosure is an English electronic music duo consisting of brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence. They grew up in Reigate, Surrey. Their debut studio album, Settle, released on 3 June 2013, by PMR Records, was nominated for Best Dance/Electronica Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards. They released a second studio album, Caracal, on 25 September 2015 which was also nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2016 Grammy Awards. Their third studio album, Energy, was released on 28 August 2020, and was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2021 Grammy Awards, alongside the fourth single from the album, "My High", which was nominated for Best Dance Recording.

KOAN Sound is an English electronic music production duo from Bristol, England. The duo consists of Will Weeks and Jim Bastow. The name is taken from the word kōan. A track from the Max Out EP is titled "One Hand Clap" – a reference to a well-known kōan with the implied answer of silence. They initially gained recognition as dubstep producers, with earlier popular tracks including "Akira". Some of their many types of music includes glitch hop, neurohop, and Drum & Bass. Jeff Montalvo, known professionally as Seven Lions, is an American DJ, record producer, instrumentalist and remixer from Santa Barbara, California. Active musically since 2010, his music combines styles as diverse as trance, melodic dubstep, drum and bass, glitch hop, and electro house. He has released eight EPs, multiple singles, and official remixes for record labels such as Casablanca Records, Owsla, Viper Recordings, Anjunabeats, Republic Records and Monstercat.

Phantogram (band) American electronic rock duo

Phantogram is an American music duo from Greenwich, New York, formed in 2007 and consisting of multi-instrumentalists and vocalists Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter.

Outline in Color is an American post-hardcore/rock band formed in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2009. The band consists of clean vocalist and bassist Jonathan Grimes, unclean vocalist Michael Skaggs, guitarist CJ Cochran and drummer Austin McFerrin. They are currently signed to Thriller Records. The band has released four albums and 3 EP's, two of which have reached the Billboard charts.

The Electric was a British electronica band, founded by original members DJ Vadim, Ste Simpson, Sabira Jade and Pugs Atomz in 2010. Simpson left the band in 2011 before the band's debut album, Life is Moving, was released.

Sahar Z is an Israeli music producer and Electronic music DJ who specialises in "harsh" yet melodic tech and progressive house music. He is closely associated with the Lost & Found label, an imprint of John Digweed's Bedrock Records. In 2014 he released the album Time along with fellow producer Guy Mantzur.
