Bong is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Venlo, about 2 km north of Velden, Limburg. [1]

Limburg is the southernmost of the 12 provinces of the Netherlands. It is in the southeastern part of the country, stretched out from the north, where it touches the province of Gelderland, to the south, where it internationally borders Belgium. Its northern part has the North Brabant province to its west. Its long eastern boundary is the international border with the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Much of the west border runs along the River Maas, bordering the Flemish province of Limburg, and a small part of the Walloon province of Liège. On the south end, it has borders with the Flemish exclave of Voeren and its surrounding part of Liège, Wallonia. The Vaalserberg is on the extreme south-eastern point, marking the tripoint of Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.

Terstraten Place in Limburg, Netherlands

Terstraten, known as Tersjtraote in Limburgish, is a hamlet in the municipality of Nuth in the province of Limburg, the Netherlands. It is one of the so-called Bovengehuchten, or Upper Hamlets, of Nuth. All the houses are situated along the street Terstraten, which runs from the neighboring hamlet Brand via a hollow way towards the Maastrichterweg. In between the houses is a little square with a Christian cross underneath a tree. The houses in Terstraten are officially preserved heritage. The hamlet is known as a painters' paradise, due to the many 18th-century farmhouses with timber framing. Between Terstraten and the hamlet Brand runs the stream Platsbeek.
