Bonzai Records, also known as Bonzai Music or Bonzai Progressive, is a Belgium-based record label specializing in techno, trance, hard trance, Goa trance, rave music and hardcore music.
It was formed by DJ Fly in the back of record-shop The Blitz in Belgium in 1992 as a sublabel to Lightning Records, which went bankrupt in March 2003 and was subsequently replaced by the Banshee Worx label. Since its renewal in 2003, the label has released records under "Bonzai Progressive", however the 'Bonzai Records' catalog numbering continues.

Trance is a genre of electronic dance music that emerged from EBM in Frankfurt, Germany, in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and quickly spread throughout Europe.
Tunnel Records is a record label founded by DJ Dean, and based in Hamburg, Germany. "Universal Nation" is a song by Belgian DJ/producer Mike "M.I.K.E." Dierickx under his alias Push. What began as small trance studio project in late 1997, became an international commercial success over the years. The song was first released in 1998 on the legendary Belgian trance label Bonzai Records. After receiving positive reviews, the song was signed in France, Spain and Germany. One year later, other European countries followed. Due to the several individual releases, the song has three different titles: Universal Nation, Universal Nation ’99 and Universal Nation.
John O'Callaghan is an Irish musician and DJ, who mainly produces trance music. He also produces music under the aliases of Joint Operations Centre, Mannix, Henrik Zuberstein, and Stenna. He has collaborated with fellow Discover artists such as Bryan Kearney, Neal Scarborough, Thomas Bronzwaer, and Greg Downey as well as, more recently, trance hero Leon Bolier. David Henrard, also known by his stage name JD Davis and Dave Davis, is a Belgian musician. He started his career in music at the age of 17 when he moved to Antwerp to work at Bonzai Records. His early releases, starting with "Transfiguration" around 1995 were under the name Dave Davis while signed to Bonzai Records. Other early aliases include Les Sabotages, Phrenetic System and Davis & Santini. He has since performed at clubs and festivals worldwide such as Mayday, Love Parade, Street Parade & Energy (Zurich), Gay Pride (Paris), Francofolies De Spa (Belgium) including a residency at Cherry Moon (Belgium).
Fabian Bohn, better known by his stage name Brennan Heart, is a Dutch DJ and hardstyle producer.
Limited Growth is a trance collaboration between Frederico Santini & Axel Stephenson. They had a total of eight releases in 1997 and 1998 under the label Bonzai Records. Their song No Fate reached number 2 in the Belgian charts in 1997.
