N.W.A was an American hip hop group formed in Compton, California. They were among the earliest and most significant popularizers and controversial figures of the gangsta rap subgenre, and the group is widely considered one of the greatest and most influential groups in the history of hip hop music.
Lorenzo Jerald Patterson, better known by his stage name MC Ren, is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer from Compton, California. He is the founder and owner of the record label Villain Entertainment.
Aaron Tyler, better known by his stage name MC Eiht, is an American rapper and actor. Many of his songs are based on his life in Compton. His stage name was partly inspired by the numeral in KRS-One's name. He chose Eiht for its links to "hood culture", including Olde English 800 and .38 caliber firearms. He is the de facto leader of West Coast hip hop group Compton's Most Wanted, which also included fellow Compton-based rappers Boom Bam, The Unknown DJ, Tha Chill, DJ Mike T, DJ Slip and Ant Capone. He is also known for his role as A-Wax in the 1993 film Menace II Society, as well as playing the character Ryder in the 2004 video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Compton's Most Wanted (C.M.W.) is an American gangsta rap group and part of the early West Coast hip hop scene. The leaders of the group are MC Eiht and Tha Chill.
David Marvin Blake, better known by his stage names DJ Quik or Da Quiksta, is an American rapper and producer, known for his production in the G-funk style of West Coast hip-hop. Blake has collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Tupac, Chingy, R. Kelly and Shaquille O'Neal, among others. Blake's stage name reflects his ability to produce songs in a short period of time. Some of his top songs include "Dollaz + Sense", "Tonite", "Born and Raised in Compton" and "Jus Lyke Compton".
Eazy-Duz-It is the debut studio album by American rapper Eazy-E. It was released on November 23, 1988, by Ruthless Records and Priority Records. The album charted on two different charts and went 2× Platinum in the United States despite very little promotion by radio and television. Three singles were released from the album, each charting in the US. The remastered version contains tracks from the extended play (EP), 5150: Home 4 tha Sick (1992). The 25th anniversary (2013) contains two bonus tracks which are 12" remixes of "We Want Eazy" and "Still Talkin.'"
We Come Strapped is the debut studio album by American rapper MC Eiht and the fourth album by his group Compton's Most Wanted. It was released on July 19, 1994 through Epic Street. Recording sessions took place at X-Factor Studios in Long Beach, California. Production was handled primarily by Compton's Most Wanted members MC Eiht and DJ Slip, except for one song, "Compton Bomb", produced by Ric Roc. It features contributions from William "Willie Z" Zimmerman on the keyboards, Josh Achziger on guitar, Carla Evans on vocals, and guest appearances from rappers Redman and Spice 1.
Death Threatz is the second studio album by the American rapper MC Eiht and the fifth album by his group Compton's Most Wanted. It was released on April 2, 1996, through Epic Street. Recording sessions took place at Echo Sound and X-Factor Studios in Los Angeles. Production was handled primarily by Compton's Most Wanted members DJ Slip and MC Eiht, along with Prodeje of South Central Cartel, Gentry "Black Jack" Reed, Robert "Fonksta" Bacon and Tomie Mundy. It features guest performances from Young Prodeje and N.O.T.R.
N' My Neighborhood is the fifth studio album by American rapper MC Eiht, and his third solo album outside the Compton's Most Wanted brand. It was released on June 20, 2000 through Hoo-Bangin'/Priority Records, making it his sophomore and final album for the label. Production was handled by seven record producers, Young Tre, Caviar, DJ Raw Steele, DJ Slip, Overdose, Binky Mack of Allfrumtha I, and MC Eiht himself, with Hoo-Bangin' Records founder Mack 10 serving as executive producer. It features guest appearances from Mack 10, Soultre, Techniec, and CMW members.

Represent is the sixth studio album by American gangsta rap group Compton's Most Wanted, and their fourth album under the CMW brand since 1992 Music to Driveby. It was released on October 24, 2000, via Half-Ounce Records. Production was handled by DJ Raw Steele and CMW members DJ Slip and MC Eiht. It includes the singles, "This Is Compton 2000" and "Then U Gone". In 2007, MC Eiht re-released the album re-titled, Representin'. The cover art pays tribute to the N.W.A album Straight Outta Compton.

Production was handled by MC Eiht, DJ Slip, DJ Muggs, Massive and Daz Dillinger. It features guest appearances from Boom Bam, Big Nasty, B-Real, Da Foe, Daz Dillinger, Hie Tiimes, Lil' Hawk and Mon-Diggi. The album peaked at number 64 on the Billboard 200 and at number 13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in the United States.
Compton's O.G. is the twelfth studio album by American rapper MC Eiht. It was released on October 10, 2006 through B-Dub Records with distribution by Universal Music. It was the third to feature his rap group Compton's Most Wanted on all songs and includes guest appearances from Fingazz, Mr. Criminal and Stomper.
When We Wuz Bangin' 1989–1999: The Hitz is the first greatest hits album by American hip hop group Compton's Most Wanted including solo material recorded by the group's frontman MC Eiht. It was released on January 23, 2001, via The Right Stuff/Capitol Records. Composed of thirteen tracks, it contains songs from the first three Compton's Most Wanted albums—It's a Compton Thang, Straight Checkn 'Em and Music to Driveby—, its A-side and B-sides, Menace II Society , MC Eiht featuring CMW album We Come Strapped, Spice 1's album 1990-Sick, and MC Eiht's solo album Section 8. Production was handled by DJ Slip, The Unknown DJ, Blackjack, Fredwreck and MC Eiht, with Tom Cartwright serving as executive producer. It features guest appearances from Scarface and Spice 1.
Vernon Johnson, professionally known by his stage name Tha Chill, is an American rapper and record producer. He embarked on his music career in the early 1990s, as a co-founder of the Compton-based West Coast hip hop/gangsta rap group Compton's Most Wanted, along with frontman Aaron "MC Eiht" Tyler. During his childhood, Johnson dropped out of high school and hooked up with neighbourhood friend MC Eiht, to form the group.
Lords of Lyrics, better known as “L.O.L.", is an American West Coast hip hop duo that consists of Jerry L. Polidore and J.K. Jackson, aka "JP" and Young Koop. The Los Angeles-based group was formed in 1992.

The Whole World's Rotten is the third studio album by American rap duo DFC from Flint, Michigan. It was released on November 25, 1997 through Big Beat Records with distribution via Tommy Boy Records. Recording sessions took place at D.A.R.P. Studios in Atlanta and at Music Annex in Palo Alto. Production was handled by seven record producers: Jazze Pha, Gentry "Black Jack" Reed, MC Eiht of Compton's Most Wanted, Erotic D, "G-Man" Stan Keith, Colin Wolfe and the group's frequent collaborator MC Breed. It features guest appearances from MC Breed, MC Eiht, Jazze Pha, The D.O.C., Big Zack, Trauma Black and N.O.T.R.
"M.A.A.D City" is a song by American rapper Kendrick Lamar, from his second studio album Good Kid, M.A.A.D City (2012). The song, which appears as the eighth track on the album, features a guest appearance from fellow Compton native and West Coast rapper MC Eiht. The song was produced by Top Dawg in-house producers THC and Sounwave for the first part of the instrumental, and Terrace Martin for the second part. The song peaked at number 75 on the Billboard Hot 100.
