Booze & Glory are an international punk band with roots in the Polish migrant punk scene in the UK, formed in London in 2009. They play primarily Oi! and street punk music. [1]
Booze & Glory was formed in London in 2009 by Mark (vocals), Liam (guitar), Bartez (bass) and Mario (drums). Mark, Bartez and Mario are originally from Poland and were already known in the Oi! scene there. In 2010 the band released their debut album Always on the Wrong Side through 84 Records. Two Split EPs followed, one with the Harington Saints and the other with The Warriors. In 2011 the band released their second album, Trouble Free. The band have also released various EPs as well as a Singles Collection, with the song "London Skinhead Crew", for which a video was also recorded. The video has been viewed around twenty million times and has so far[ when? ] been the band's most successful song. [2]
In 2013 Bartez and Mario left the group citing family reasons. They were replaced by the Swedish drummer T. Cliché (from The Clichés and Clockwork Crew) and Bubbles. The band signed a recording contract with Step-1 Music in 2014 and released their album As Bold as Brass. [2] [3] In 2017 the band released Chapter IV and in 2019 they released Hurricane.
Booze & Glory play modern British Oi! with many singalongs and catchy rhythms. In their lyrics they cover many British topics, from singing about the working class to their description of the London skinhead scene via songs about drinking beer. Their lyrics show patriotism towards England and pride in London and the football club West Ham United. However the band is also proud to have members of different nationalities, and has positioned itself clearly against the right-wing Skinhead scene, while taking an apolitical stance otherwise. Sham 69 are an English punk rock band that formed in Hersham in Surrey in 1975. They changed their musical direction after seeing the Sex Pistols play live in early 1976. They were one of the most successful punk bands in the United Kingdom, achieving five top 20 singles, including "If the Kids Are United" and "Hurry Up Harry". The group's popularity saw them perform on the BBC’s Top of the Pops, and they appeared in the rockumentary film, D.O.A.. The original unit broke up in 1979, with frontman Jimmy Pursey moving on to pursue a solo career.
Agnostic Front is an American hardcore punk band from New York City. Founded in 1980, the band is considered an important influence on the New York hardcore scene, as well as a pioneer of the crossover thrash genre.
Angelic Upstarts are an English punk rock / Oi! band formed in South Shields in 1977. AllMusic calls them "one of the period's most politically charged and thought-provoking groups". The band espouse an anti-fascist and socialist working class philosophy, and have been associated with the punk and skinhead subcultures.
Iron Cross was an American Oi! / hardcore punk band from Washington D.C. They played a rough form of Oi! and were the first band in the US to adopt the skinhead look and the Oi! musical style. Some of its members had close ties to the Washington hardcore punk subculture, due to its relationship with other hardcore bands, with Ian Mackaye, and with Dischord Records. Singer Sab Grey was one of the many roommates in the Dischord House in Arlington, Virginia. The band's name, and the fact that most of its members were skinheads, led to accusations of fascism, which Grey and others in the band and the original D.C. skins, always denied, declaring that they "hate Nazis".
Lars Erik Frederiksen is an American musician and record producer best known as a guitarist and vocalist for the punk rock band Rancid, as well as the frontman of Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards and the Old Firm Casuals. In addition, he currently plays guitar in Oxley's Midnight Runners, Stomper 98, and The Last Resort. He was also briefly a member of the UK Subs in 1991.
The Blood are an English, London-based punk rock band, formed in 1982. Led by Cardinal Jesus Hate and JJ Bedsore, the band formed in the early 1980s under the name "Coming Blood". Their music is a blend of hardcore punk, Oi!, heavy metal, football chants and shock rock.

Skrewdriver were an English punk rock band formed by Ian Stuart Donaldson in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, in 1976. This new version of the band played a leading role in the Rock Against Communism movement.

Originally composed of Gary Hodges (vocals), 'Hoxton' Tom McCourt (guitar), Steve 'H' Harmer (bass) and John Jacobs (drums), the group was formed in 1979 and disbanded in 1984 – although new line-ups formed in 2007 and 2008. Many of their songs dealt with violent topics, but the band has claimed they were discussing the realities of inner city life, not promoting violence. Other 4-Skins song topics include police harassment, political corruption, war and unemployment.
Funeral Dress is a street punk band from Belgium who formed in 1985. Their big hits include "I'm in Love with Oi", "Free Beer for the Punx", "Party Political Bullshit", "Party On", "Freedom and Liberty", "Belgium's Burning", "Come On Follow" and "Death & Glory". The band toured the US several times, toured Russia in 2010 for the first time. The band can be seen in the 2007 documentary Punk's Not Dead. Funeral Dress also played festivals like Pukkelpop, Groezrock (2014), Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas (2013), Marktrock, and Rebellion (Blackpool).
The Press are an American Oi! band. Formed in New York City in 1984, the outspoken anti-fascist band were early members of Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice. Vocalist André Schlesinger also supported the views of the British Socialist Workers Party, and this was reflected in some of the band's lyrics. Their songs appeared on several compilation albums, as well as a posthumous CD collection of their recordings called The Complete Press: 1984-1994, released in 2007 by Insurgence Records, re-released on vinyl in 2017. Their song "21 Guitar Salute" has been covered by Dropkick Murphys and Hawkins Thugs; in 2000 The Franks recorded a version of The Press' "It's Not What I Want." In 2019 The Press’ song "Revolution Now" was recorded by another New York-based band, The Take.
Combat 84 was an English punk rock band active during the early 1980s. Formed in 1981 in Chelsea, London by skinheads 'Chubby' Chris Henderson and 'Deptford' John Armitage, Combat 84 rose to national prominence after being featured in a controversial 1982 BBC Arena documentary about the skinhead movement.
