The co-cathedral of Saint Eustace is the main church of Acquaviva delle Fonti. The dedication is to Saint Eustace. It is now a co-cathedral of the Diocese of Altamura-Gravina-Acquaviva delle Fonti. Previously it was the palatine church of Acquaviva delle Fonti, which became part of the territorial prelature of Altamura e Acquaviva delle Fonti formed by Pius IX in 1848, when he added Acquaviva to the existing territorial prelature of Altamura.

Giacomo Benvenuti was an Italian composer and musicologist. He was the son of organist Cristoforo Benvenuti and studied at the Liceo Musicale in Bologna under Luigi Torchi (musicology) and Marco Enrico Bossi (organ). In 1919 his collection of songs for voice and piano accompaniment, Canti a una voce : con accompagnamento di pianoforte, was published in Bologna. In 1922 he published a collection of 17th-century art songs entitled 35 Arie di vari autori del secolo XVII. Composer Samuel Barber studied the works of Giulio Caccini, Andrea Falconieri, and other early Italian composers under his tutelage in Milan in 1933–1934. For the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma he adapted Claudio Monteverdi's L'Orfeo for a production which premiered on 27 December 1934. The adaptation was later used for the first recording of L'Orfeo in 1939, which included a performance by the orchestra of La Scala Milan under conductor Ferrucio Calusio.

Renzo Bossi is an ex Italian politician, influencer, son of Umberto Bossi, founder and former leader of the Lega Nord party. In 2010 he was elected as a member of the Regional Council of Lombardy. He is known as "il trota" since 2008, when Umberto Bossi was asked if he considered Renzo to be his dauphin and he jokingly compared him to a trout instead.

Variations include Bosio and Boselli, the former being among the original derivations of "Bossi" and the latter being a common variation of Italian names. Bossy and Bossie are two etymologically related forms found in French-speaking regions as well as in the United States. The coat of arms and family standard are of a bovine bull holding the Latin phrase "In Domino Confido", which translates as "In God I trust". The bull is quartered in the solid gules (red) and argent (white) colors of the House of Savoy, set upon an azure field.
