Boudewijn Poelmann (born 3 February 1949, Bussum) is a Dutch entrepreneur and co-founder of the Netherlands's Nationale Postcode Lottery. In 1983, he helped to start the media company, Novamedia. [1]
Before establishing Novamedia in 1983, he worked with DAF and Oxfam Novib (Dutch organization for international development aid). At Oxfam Novib he was responsible for fundraising and oversaw its publishing house. In addition, he acquired experience in European TV, telephone and printed media businesses. Until September 1992 he was also the director of Inter Press Service, Europe. [2]
Poelmann is one of the founders/owners of Independent Media, which became the second largest publishing house in the Russian Federation. He was the chairman of the board of directors until 2004 when Independent Media was sold to Sanoma Publishing. In 2004, he co-founded City AM, a daily financial newspaper in London. One year later he co-founded the new Dutch publishing house Nieuw Amsterdam. [3] He was a member of the board of Feyenoord Rotterdam.

The Nationale Postcode Loterij is the biggest charity lottery in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1989 by Novamedia, a marketing agency that sets up and runs charity lotteries. Forty percent of the proceeds of this lottery are donated amongst 81 charities, which, in 2010 amounted to over 270 million euros.
Dolf Jansen is a Dutch comedian, host of the Radio 2 programme Spijkers met Koppen and an active Marathon runner. On television Jansen hosted Loods 6 (1991), Kunstbende (1992), Jansen slaat door (TROS) (1993) and Jansen op jacht (2007). He is a controversial politician due to his political views, his promotion of conspiracy theories and disinformation, and his use of personal attacks against his opponents.
Sigrid Agnes Maria Kaag is a Dutch diplomat and politician, serving as Minister of Finance and First Deputy Prime Minister in the Fourth Rutte cabinet. She previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 25 May 2021 until 17 September 2021 and Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation from 26 October 2017 until 10 August 2021 in the Third Rutte cabinet.
Nilüfer Gündoğan is a Dutch politician, who serves as a member of the House of Representatives. She was elected to the House in the 2021 general election on behalf of Volt Netherlands. In February 2022, she was suspended from its parliamentary group following internal reports of unacceptable behavior. Gündoğan had before worked as a consultant and manager.
Bernhard Jan Boudewijn Ietswaart was a Dutch graphic designer, illustrator and type designer who worked almost 20 years outside his native country, especially in Mexico, Spain and Venezuela. His hand-painted book covers are considered among the best of the genre. The University of Amsterdam maintains a collection of his work.
Willem Christiaan Engel is a Dutch activist who founded the controversial organization Viruswaanzin, and leads it under its new name Viruswaarheid. The organization regularly protests against governmental measures on COVID-19 and also often promotes alternative theories. He for example believes that reported cases and risks of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Netherlands have been exaggerated, and the theory that measures against the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 are used to restrict fundamental rights. He is also against vaccination against COVID-19 and believes the SARS‑CoV‑2 escaped from a lab in Wuhan. In March 2022, Engel was arrested for incitement after nearly 23.000 people had pressed charges of inciting violence, spreading medical misinformation, fraud, making statements with terrorist intent, and threats. While released under the restriction of no social media interaction at 30 March, at 3 April he was arrested again because he breached the terms of his release.
Arnold van den Bergh was a Dutch legal notary based in Amsterdam. He was a well-known and high-profile lawyer, one of six Jewish notaries operating in Amsterdam. Van den Bergh contributed to the field of social work in the Netherlands, and was widely known in Amsterdam outside of the Jewish community.
