The World Tenpin Bowling Championships is a global event that invites all countries that are members of International Bowling Federation to participate.
The Pan American Games sports comprise all the sports contested in the Summer Olympic Games. In addition, traditional and popular sports throughout the Americas which are not contested at the Olympic Games are also contested such as bowling and baseball. As of 2015, the Pan American Games included 36 sports with 51 disciplines and 364 events. The number and kinds of events may change slightly from one Pan American Games to another.
Bowling competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto were held from July 22 to 25 at the Planet Bowl, due to naming rights the venue was known as the latter for the duration of the games. A total of four events were contested.

Jonathan Josué Solís Rivas is a Guatemalan badminton player. He won the gold medal in the men's doubles at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games. He also part of Guatemala winning team at the 2010 and 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games. Conrrado Moscoso is a Bolivian racquetball player. He is the current International Racquetball Federation (IRF) Men's Singles World Champion, which he won at the 2022 Racquetball World Championships in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Moscoso is the first Bolivian and first South American man to win an IRF World Championship in singles. Moscoso is also the current two time Pan American Champion in Men's Singles as well as the Pan American Champion in Mixed Doubles. Moscoso has won multiple medals for Bolivia, including several gold medals, including gold in the Men's Team event at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. That was the first gold medal won by Bolivia in any sport at the Pan American Games. Moscoso has also won multiple times on the International Racquetball Tour (IRT), and cracked the IRT top 10 in 2019–20.
