Brandon Nozaki Miller, also known by the user name RIAEvangelist, [1] is an American software developer and motorcyclist.
Miller is a pioneer in high-speed electric motorcycling. [2] He began his riding career exclusively on electric motorcycles, and transitioned to competitive racing. [3] Miller was the first person to "break the ton" (go over 100 mph) in the 150 kg Unfaired Electric Motorcycle Class. As of 2012, he holds the FIM/AMA landspeed records for 150 kg unfaired electric motorcycle in the mile, 101.652 mph, and the kilometer, 102.281 mph. He first set these records using a stock 2012 production Zero Motorcycles ZF6, breaking the previous record of 68 mph a speed of 96 mph for two FIM/AMA world records and setting a brand-new AMA record for fastest modified production electric motorcycle, all of which he broke two more times in the following two days resulting in his final records over 100 mph. Miller set his records at the Bonneville Speedway in Utah. [4] Miller set his records two years after he began riding. [5]
In March 2022, Miller, maintainer of the node-ipc package on the npm package registry, released a version in protest of the Russian invasion of Ukraine allegedly containing malicious code. The payload would write a file named "WITH-LOVE-FROM-AMERICA.txt", containing an anti-war message, to the desktop of affected machines. Additionally, on machines with Belarusian and Russian IP addresses, the payload would overwrite all files on the system with a heart emoji. [6] [7] Miller denied the allegations that the code was malicious, and said he had been swatted in retaliation; however, sources reporting on this disputed his denials. [8]
MotoCzysz was an American motorcycle company based in Portland, Oregon that intended to compete in MotoGP. The C1 prototype engine was designed with perfect balance not needing a balance shaft. Some of the patented innovations included a slipper clutch with twin clutches, and a unique front suspension. The business also developed a successful electric racing motorcycle, the E1pc.
The Daytona 200 is an annual motorcycle road racing competition held in early spring at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. The 200-mile (320 km) race was founded in 1937 when it was sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA). The original course used the beach itself before moving to a paved closed circuit in 1961. The Daytona 200 reached its zenith of worldwide popularity in the 1970s when the race attracted the largest crowds of any AMA race along with some of the top rated international motorcycle racers.
Chris Carr is an American motorcycle dirt-track racer and seven-time winner of the A.M.A. Grand National Championship. He has also competed as a motorcycle road racer at the national level and was a motorcycle land speed world record holder.
The motorcycle land-speed record is the fastest speed achieved by a motorcycle on land. It is standardized as the speed over a course of fixed length, averaged over two runs in opposite directions. AMA National Land Speed Records requires 2 passes the same calendar day in opposite directions over a timed mile/kilo while FIM Land Speed World Records require two passes in opposite directions to be over a timed mile/kilo completed within 2 hours. These are special or modified motorcycles, distinct from the fastest production motorcycles. The first official Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) record was set in 1920, when Gene Walker rode an Indian on Daytona Beach at 104.12 mph (167.56 km/h). Since late 2010, the Ack Attack team has held the motorcycle land speed record at 376.36 mph (605.69 km/h).

She is the former co-owner of High Five Cycles with Ronnie Trent, a used motorcycle dealership in north Dallas. She has been riding and racing motorcycles since her mid-teens. She was born on April 16, 1976.
TT Zero – an electric motorsport event introduced for the 2010 Isle of Man TT races – replaced the similar TTXGP race as a 1-lap circuit of the Snaefell Mountain Course. The TT Zero event as an officially sanctioned Isle of Man TT race is for racing motorcycles where "The technical concept is for motorcycles to be powered without the use of carbon based fuels and have zero toxic/noxious emissions." The Isle of Man Government offered a prize of £10,000 for the first entrant to exceed the prestigious 100 mph average speed around the Mountain Course.
The Motus MST was a sport touring motorcycle produced from 2014 to 2018 by Motus Motorcycles of Birmingham, Alabama. Motus was the newest motorcycle manufacturer in the United States. Motus' partner in developing the MST was race car manufacturer Pratt & Miller, who were credited with product engineering, development, testing and validation for the MST.

He designed and built the record-breaking SWIGZ electric motorcycle, which in 2011 he rode over 200 mph (322 km/h) to 8 official world land speed records, 4 AMA National Championship Records, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb record, and the Guinness Book of World Records title of “World’s Fastest Electric Motorcycle”. Dubbed "the world’s most powerful electric superbike", the motorcycle is now on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum's exhibit 'Electric Revolution', curated by Paul d'Orleans.
William Walter "Bill" Warner was an American motorcycle racer who set a land speed record on a conventional motorcycle in 2011. He was killed in a motorcycle racing crash in 2013.

"Smokey'" Joe Petrali was an American motorcycle racer, active in the 1920s and 1930s. Petrali was a Class A racing champion who competed in board-track and dirt-track racing circuits, speed records, and hillclimbs. Petrali won a record 49 American Motorcyclist Association national championship races, with his last coming on August 29, 1937. The record stood for 55 years until broken by Scott Parker in 1992.

Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials (BMST) (AMA Land Speed Grand Championship) is a motorcycle land speed racing event, held annually at Bonneville Speedway, US. The event is sanctioned by American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). AMA-certified US National land speed records, and FIM-certified Land speed world records are created in this event. The event features motorcycles ranging from 50-cc to 3000-cc, as well as electric classes.
