The Bratislava Chamber Guitar festival is a guitarfestival hosted in Bratislava, Slovakia since 2005. The festival is held every year in April and lasts between 4 and 5 days.
The festival focuses in chamber music that involves classical guitar, but is not limited to guitarists only. During the multiple performances that have been given at the festival various chamber music ensembles have performed.
Over the years many artists from all over the world (Argentina, Italy, Israel, Russia, Brasil, Uruguay, Greece, Spain, Hungary) played at the concerts. Among the performers Álvaro Pierri, Duo Melis and Katona Twins have played at the festival in the past years.
Coal Chamber was an American nu metal band formed by Dez Fafara and Meegs Rascón in Los Angeles, California in 1993. Prior to Coal Chamber, the two had also created the band She's in Pain, in 1992. Coal Chamber disbanded in 2003 after ten years together, and then reunited from 2011 to 2016. The band's first drummer, Jon Tor, was eventually replaced by Mike Cox. After bass guitarist Rayna Foss joined, the Coal Chamber lineup was complete. They released their debut album, Coal Chamber, in 1997. Chamber Music followed two years later. Their third album, Dark Days, was released in the spring of 2002. The only single from the album was "Fiend". Coal Chamber released one more album, Rivals, in 2015, before disbanding again in 2016.

Tublatanka is a Slovak rock band formed in the autumn of 1982 in Bratislava, Slovakia, best known for the hits "Pravda víťazí" and "Dnes" (Today). The band's classic lineup consisted of Maťo Ďurinda, Palo Horváth, and Juraj "Ďuro" Černý from 1982 to 1992. In 1992, Palo exited the band, leaving Maťo and Ďuro to record their 1993 album with Maťo composing guitar and bass melodies. Ďuro left the band in 1995 due to complications with drugs. Currently, the band consists of Maťo Ďurinda, Juraj Topor, and Peter Schlosser.
Timothy Wesley John Brady is a Canadian composer, electric guitarist, improvising musician, concert producer, record producer and cultural activist. Working in the field of contemporary classical music, experimental music, and musique actuelle, his compositions utilize a variety of styles from serialism to minimalism and often incorporate modern instruments such as electric guitars and other electroacoustic instruments. His music is marked by a synthesis of musical languages, having developed an ability to use elements of many musical styles while retaining a strong sense of personal expression. Some of his early recognized works are the 1982 orchestral pieces Variants and Visions, his Chamber Concerto (1985), the chamber trio ...in the Wake..., and his song cycle Revolutionary Songs (1994).

Dale Clevenger was an American musician who was the Principal Horn of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from 1966 until his retirement in June, 2013. Before joining the CSO, he was a member of Leopold Stokowski's American Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony of the Air directed by Alfred Wallenstein. He was also principal horn of the Kansas City Philharmonic. Prior to his death, he taught horn at the Jacobs School of Music in Indiana University.
