Breezeway Records is a small, independent record label based in Charlottesville, Virginia. [1] Breezeway works with four artists and has released a total of six records. [2]

Sokoband, formerly known as Soko, is a jazz fusion duo, featuring pianist Michael Sokolowski and bassist Houston Ross. The group formed as a trio in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1991, with Sokolowski, Ross, and drummer John Gilmore. The group performed live for several years, then released their first studio album, In November Sunlight, in 1996. The album received notably high record sales for an instrumental album, mainly due to its guest appearance by members of the Dave Matthews Band—Dave Matthews, LeRoi Moore, and Tim Reynolds.
UK hard house or simply hard house is a style of electronic dance music that emerged in the early 1990s and is synonymous with its association to the Trade club and the associated DJs there that created the style. It often features a speedy tempo, offbeat bass stabs, hoovers and horns. It usually contains a break in the middle of the track where no drums are present. UK hard house often uses a long and sharp string note to create suspense. Most of the time, the drops are introduced by a drum roll.

Ensign is an American hardcore punk band from New Jersey. They formed in 1995 and signed with Indecision Records in 1996. They signed to the larger label "next door", Dexter Holland's Nitro Records, in 1998 and finally came to rest at Blackout Records in 2003 after a brief sortie back to Indecision in 2000.
Two is the second album by Charlottesville, Virginia eclectic duo, Soko, released in 2005, almost ten years after their debut album, In November Sunlight, released in 1996. Soko started out as a trio until drummer John Gilmore, who appeared on the first album, left the band. Gilmore appears as a guest performer on this album. In addition to Gilmore, ten various artists are heard, including guitarist Tim Reynolds. The album was recorded in the Dave Matthews Band's Haunted Hollow Studio, and features several tracks which were performed live by Soko throughout the 1990s, as well as several new studio songs, and a cover of The Beatles' "Rain." The songs "Plant the Sky," "Joy of Love," and "Rain" were edited and released as singles for radio play.

Her debut studio album I Thought I Was an Alien was released in 2012 and contains the single "We Might Be Dead by Tomorrow", which achieved ninth place on the Billboard Hot 100. Ensuing years saw the releases of her second and third studio albums My Dreams Dictate My Reality (2015) and Feel Feelings (2020).
