Brent Gibson is a New Zealand para-swimmer. At the 1988 Summer Paralympics, he won a gold medal in the 200m Freestyle 3, and bronze medals in the 100m Individual Medley 3 and 50m Freestyle 3. [1]
Dame Sophie Frances Pascoe is a New Zealand para-swimmer. She has represented New Zealand at four Summer Paralympic Games from 2008, winning a total of eleven gold medals, seven silver medals and one bronze medal, making her New Zealand's most successful Paralympian. She has also represented New Zealand at the Commonwealth Games.
Cameron Michael "Cam" Gibson is a New Zealand swimming competitor. He won a bronze medal in the 200m backstroke at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in a time of 2:00.72 minutes.
Great Britain was one of twenty-eight nations to send athletes to the 1968 Summer Paralympics in Tel Aviv, Israel from November 4 to 13, 1968. The team finished second in the medal table and won sixty-nine medals: twenty-nine gold, twenty silver and twenty bronze. Athletes from the whole United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, were able to compete for the team. Seventy-five British athletes took part in the Games; fifty-one men and twenty-four women.

Phillip John Tracey is a quadriplegic Australian Paralympic swimmer. At the 1984 New York/Stoke Mandeville Paralympics, he won a bronze medal in the Men's 100 m Freestyle 1A event. He won three silver medals at the 1988 Seoul Games in the Men's 100 m Freestyle 1A, Men's 25 m Backstroke 1A and Men's 50 m Freestyle 1A events. He competed in swimming without winning a medal at the 1992 Barcelona Paralympics. He was from Murrumbeena, Victoria and 34 at the time of the Games.
Annabelle Williams, is a Paralympic swimming competitor from Australia. She has a congenital limb deficiency. She appeared in Mad Max 4. Representing Australia, she has won a gold medal at the 2012 London Paralympic Games in the 4 × 100 m medley relay, a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in the Women's 100 m Butterfly S9. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games, she earned a silver medal in the Women's 50 m Freestyle S9 and a bronze in the Women's 100 m Multi Disability Freestyle. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games, she earned a silver in the Women's 50 m Freestyle S9 event.
Kayla Clarke is an Indigenous Australian swimmer who represented Australia at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in swimming, and has medalled at the 2010 Australian Disability Age Group Nationals, and 2010 International Paralympic Swimming World Championships, 2009 Queensland State Championships, 2009 Queensland Secondary School Titles, and 2009 Global Games. She competes in a number of events, including the 100m freestyle, 100m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 100m butterfly and 200m individual medley.

Orinoco Faamausili-Banse-Prince is a New Zealand swimmer of Samoan heritage, who specialized in freestyle events. He represented New Zealand at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, and competed as part of the men's national swimming team for the men's 4 × 100 m freestyle relay. Faamausili-Banse joined the team, along with compatriots Cameron Gibson, Mark Herring, and Willy Benson, and swam in the final leg of the competition, with an individual split time of 48.96 seconds. He and his swimming team placed sixth in the first heat, and eleventh overall, for a total time of 3:15.41.
The 2013 IPC Swimming World Championships was an international swimming competition, the biggest meet for athletes with a disability since the 2012 Summer Paralympics. It was held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and lasted from 12 to 18 August. Around 530 athletes competed from 57 different countries. The event was held in the Parc Jean Drapeau Aquatic Complex located at the Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal. 172 events were contested with 43 new world records set.
Jeanette Clare Chippington, is a British Paralympic swimmer and paracanoeist. Chippington has represented Great Britain at seven Paralympics, five in swimming Summer Paralympics, 1988 Seoul, 1992 Barcelona, 1996 Atlanta, Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004. Competing as a S6 classification swimmer she favoured mainly 50 m and 100m freestyle competitions. After retiring from swimming Chippington returned to disability sport, becoming a world class paracanoeist, winning gold at the 2016 Summer Paralympics and bronze at 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
Patricia Hill is a New Zealand Paralympian who competed in athletics. At the 1980 Summer Paralympics, she won a gold medal in the Slalom 2; a silver medal in the 200m 2; and a bronze medal in the 400m 2. At the 1984 Summer Paralympics, she won a gold medal in the Slalom 2, and silver medals in the Marathon 2 and Pentathlon 2. At the 1988 Summer Paralympics, she won bronze medals in the Marathon 2 and Slalom 3.

At the 1988 Summer Paralympics, he won a silver medal in the 200m Freestyle 2 and a bronze medal in the 50m Freestyle 2.
Oleksandr Komarov is a Ukrainian Paralympic swimmer. He represented Ukraine at the Summer Paralympics in 2012, 2016 and 2021 and he won two medals at the 2016 Summer Paralympics: the gold medal in the men's 4 × 100 m freestyle relay 34pts event and the bronze medal in the 100 m freestyle S6 event.
