Brett Reed (born May 29, 1972) is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach for the Lehigh University Mountain Hawks. Reed is known most notably for Lehigh's upset over the Duke Blue Devils in the 2012 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Lehigh was the 15 seed and knocked off the highly touted Duke program as the number 2 seed in the tournament.
Reed began his tenure at Lehigh University as an assistant coach, recruiting coordinator, academic monitor, and scout for five years from 2002 until 2007. He was promoted to head coach on August 10, 2007, [1] succeeding Billy Taylor who had been named to a similar capacity at Ball State University two days prior on August 8. [2] He also served as an assistant coach at High Point, UNC Greensboro and Oakland Community College. His only prior head coaching experience was at Canterbury School in Florida. [3]
Reed received a bachelor's degree in literature from Eckerd College in 1995. [4] He earned both a master's degree in 1998 and a Ph.D. in instructional technology with a cognate in sports administration in 2003 from Wayne State University. [5]

Harold Tommy Amaker Jr. is an American college basketball coach and the head coach of the Harvard University men's basketball team. He has also coached for the University of Michigan and Seton Hall University. He played point guard and later served as an assistant coach at Duke University under Mike Krzyzewski. An All-American player, Amaker set numerous records and earned many honors and awards. He took Seton Hall to the post season in each of his four seasons as their coach, helped Michigan win the National Invitation Tournament the year after a probationary ban from postseason play, and had the three highest single-season win totals in the history of Harvard basketball, the school's first six Ivy League championships and first NCAA tournament victory.
Michael John Montgomery is a retired American basketball coach. He is best known for his 18-year tenure at Stanford (1986–2004), where he led the program to 12 NCAA Tournaments, including a Final Four appearance in 1998. Montgomery previously served as head coach at the Montana (1978–1986). Following his time at Stanford, he coached the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA) for two seasons (2004–2006) before ending his career at the University of California (2008–2014). He announced his retirement from coaching following the 2013–14 season.
Orlando Henry "Tubby" Smith is an American college basketball coach who last coached the men's basketball team at High Point University, his alma mater. Smith previously served in the same role at the University of Tulsa, the University of Georgia, the University of Kentucky, the University of Minnesota, Texas Tech University, and the University of Memphis. With Kentucky, he coached the Wildcats to the 1998 NCAA championship.

Anthony Duvale Grant is an American basketball coach who is the head men's basketball coach at the University of Dayton. Prior to that, he was the head coach at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2006 to 2009, and at the University of Alabama from 2009 to 2015. Prior to becoming the VCU head coach, he was an assistant coach at the University of Florida from 1996 to 2006.

The Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball team represents Texas A&M University in NCAA Division I college basketball. The Aggies compete in the Southeastern Conference. Since 1998, the teams has played its home games at Reed Arena, a 12,989-capacity arena in College Station, Texas on the campus of Texas A&M University. Austen Rowland is an American retired professional basketball player. His 15-year career spanned from 2004 to 2019 with stops in Austria, Finland, France, and Germany. In college, Rowland was an honorable mention All-American and the 2004 Patriot League Player of the Year as a senior at Lehigh. Rowland has also been an assistant coach, first at Lehigh for the 2016–17 season and then with the German professional team Hamburg Towers in 2019–20. In his post-basketball life he is a licensed real estate professional in the Bowie, Maryland area.

They finished the season 22–11, 10–4 in Patriot League play to finish in first place in the conference.

The Mountain Hawks, led by 16th-year head coach Brett Reed, played their home games at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania as members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 16–14, 11–7 in Patriot League play to finish in a tie for second place. As the No. 3 seed in the Patriot League tournament, they lost to Lafayette in the quarterfinals.
