Gary Pert is a former Australian rules footballer who represented Fitzroy and Collingwood in the Australian Football League (AFL). Tall, well-built and strong in the air, Pert played over 200 league games, despite suffering two serious knee injuries in the prime years of his career. Early in one season, Pert suffered a bizarre injury when he went to his girlfriend's house for dinner and got a biscuit stuck in his oesophagus. The blockage remained overnight and so the following day he underwent an oesophagoscopy under general anaesthetic. He recovered in time for the Round 5 game against Richmond. He returned in 1989, winning Fitzroy's best and fairest.
The Stadion Woudestein, is a multi-use stadium in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It is currently used mainly for football matches and is the home stadium of Excelsior, as well as for the women's team Excelsior Barendrecht. The stadium is able to hold 4,500 people and was built in 1902. It remains one of the smallest stadiums in the Netherlands that is used by a professional football club. The stadium has a stand named after Robin van Persie, who played for the Excelsior youth academy between 1997 and 1999.
The Kansas City Roos, known before July 1, 2019, as the UMKC Kangaroos and also sometimes called the Kansas City Kangaroos, are the intercollegiate teams representing the University of Missouri–Kansas City that compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. Primera División de México(Mexican First Division)Apertura 2007 is a Mexican football tournament - one of two shorter tournaments that together make up the Mexican football season - to determine the champion(s) of Mexican football. It began on Friday, August 3, 2007. On June 10, 2007, FMF General Secretary Decio de Maria revealed the groups for the upcoming tournament. Reigning champions Pachuca were eliminated in Repechaje by Cruz Azul by a double leg aggregate score of 6-0 and thus could not retain their title. Puebla was promoted to the Primera División de México after they beat Sinaloa in the ascension final thus, Querétaro was relegated to the Primera División A. This is the first time they are taking part in a Primera División tournament since they were relegated after Clausura 2005. Atlante made the move to Cancún, Quintana Roo, and played in the Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo after having played in Estádio Azteca for over a decade. At their new home, on December 9, 2007 Atlante won the Apertura 2007 by defeating UNAM 2–1 on aggregate. It was Atlante's third title.

Same-sex marriage is performed and recognized in all municipalities of the state of Quintana Roo. The first two same-sex marriages occurred in Kantunilkin on 28 November 2011 after it was discovered that the state's Civil Code does not specify sex or gender requirements for marriage. However, future same-sex marriages were suspended in January 2012 upon review by the state's Secretary General of Government. The two same-sex marriages in the state were annulled by the Governor of Quintana Roo, Roberto Borge Angulo, in April 2012, but these annulments were reversed by the Secretary General of Government on 3 May. The Secretary's decision allows for future same-sex marriages to be performed in Quintana Roo.
