Meade plays for Midfield position his local club Rathkenny and for Meath senior team since being called up in 2007 by former footballer and manager Colm Coyle.

Rathkenny GFC is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the small village of Rathkenny, in County Meath, Ireland. The club takes part in Meath GAA competitions. The club have won 5 Meath Senior Football Championship titles. Rathkenny are currently competing at senior level, and have been since 2007. The club was founded in 1886, making it one of the oldest clubs in Meath.

Meade Stadium is a 6,555-seat multi-purpose stadium in Kingston, Rhode Island. It is home to the University of Rhode Island Rams football team. The facility opened in 1928. It was renamed in 1936 to honor John E. "Jack" Meade, class of 1915, longtime Rhode Island politician and booster, who was said to have never missed a game in the stadium until his death in 1972.

Séamus Kenny is a Gaelic footballer who plays for Simonstown Gaels and played for the Meath senior football team for thirteen years from 2001 until 2014. Kenny made his debut with Meath in 2001 as a blood sub in the Leinster quarter-final victory over Westmeath and was named Meath football captain for 2011 and retained that honour for 2012. Kenny's 2012 Championship was cut short when he suffered cruciate ligament damage in his knee after only 7 minutes of Meaths first-round victory over Wicklow in the Leinster championship. Kenny retired from inter county football on 7 August 2014 having missed the majority of the 2013 and 2014 seasons owing to injury.
