Brian Rosenworcel is an American drummer and co-founder of the band Guster. [1]

Early life and education

Rosenworcel is a native of West Hartford, Connecticut. He co-founded Guster while studying at Tufts University in the early-1990s. [2] Rosenworcel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts in 1995. [3]

Career

For many years, Rosenworcel exclusively played hand drums in the band, before expanding his setup to include a more traditional drum kit. [4] Rosenworcel has co-written several of the group's songs and, beginning with 2003's Keep it Together, contributed to their lyrics. [5]

Rosenworcel has maintained the band's active studio and tour journals since 1999. [6]

Personal life

Rosenworcel resides in Brooklyn, New York. [7] His sister is FCC commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel. [8] He is Jewish. [9]

Guster Alternative Rock band from Boston, Massachusetts

Guster is an American alternative rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Founding members Adam Gardner, Ryan Miller, and Brian Rosenworcel began practice sessions while attending Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, and formed the band in 1991. The members met during the freshman Wilderness Orientation program in August of that year, playing publicly together as a trio two months later at the Midnight Cafe coffee house set in the common area of the Lewis Hall dormitory. While attending Tufts, the band lived at 139 College Avenue in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Jessica Rosenworcel is an American attorney serving as a member and chairwoman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). She originally served on the FCC from May 11, 2012, to January 3, 2017, and was confirmed by the Senate for an additional term on August 3, 2017. Subsequently, she was named to serve as acting chair in January 2021, designated permanent chair in October 2021, and confirmed as such by the Senate in December 2021. Rosenworcel's term runs for five years beginning July 1, 2020.

The Orgasmatron Tour was a concert tour by heavy metal band Motörhead in support of their album, Orgasmatron. It would be the final tour with Pete Gill, as he would be fired in 1987 and replaced with Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor for the remainder of the tour.
