Biography
Brian Ruckley was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland and studied at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Stirling. He lived for a time in London but is now based in Edinburgh again. [1]
He is currently the author of eight published works.
Four are short stories; "Farm Animal" was printed in 1993 in the British science fiction magazine, Interzone No. 74, and "Gibbons" was printed in 1999 in issue No. 20 of the magazine The Third Alternative , now called Black Static . "Beyond the Reach of his Gods" appeared in the 2009 anthology Rage of the Behemoth from Rogue Blades Entertainment, and was reprinted in 2012 in the online science fiction and fantasy magazine Lightspeed . [2] "Flint" appeared in the 2010 anthology Speculative Horizons from Subterranean Press.
His first novel, Winterbirth was published in 2006 by Orbit Books in both the US and the UK. Winterbirth was followed by its sequel, Bloodheir , which was released in 2008, also by Orbit Books, as was the third book, Fall of Thanes released in 2009. [3] [4]
In 2011 his fourth book, a standalone historical fantasy/horror novel entitled The Edinburgh Dead was published, again by Orbit Books. [5]
In 2014 Ruckley released a standalone epic fantasy novel entitled The Free. [6]
Between 2019 and 2022, Ruckley was the main writer for the ongoing Transformers comic by IDW Publishing. [7]

Matthew Hughes is a Canadian author who writes science fiction under the name Matthew Hughes, crime fiction as Matt Hughes and media tie-ins as Hugh Matthews. Prior to his work in fiction, he was a freelance speechwriter. Hughes has written over twenty novels and he is also a prolific author of short fiction whose work has appeared in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Asimov's Science Fiction, Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine, Lightspeed, Postscripts, Interzone and original anthologies edited by George R. R. Martin and Gardner Dozois. In 2020 he was inducted into the Canadian SF and Fantasy Association Hall of Fame.

His novel SEAL Team 666 is currently under development by MGM Films. Dwayne Johnson has attached himself to the film to executive produce as well as act in a leading role.
Will McIntosh is a Hugo-Award-winning science fiction author. He has published dozens of short stories in magazines such as Asimov's Science Fiction, Strange Horizons, Lightspeed Magazine, Daily Science Fiction, and Interzone. His stories are also frequently reprinted in different "Year's Best" anthologies. McIntosh's first two novels, Soft Apocalypse, and Hitchers were published by Night Shade Books in April 2011 and February 2012, respectively.

A nine-time finalist for the Nebula Award, Pinsker's debut novel A Song for a New Day won the 2019 Nebula for Best Novel while her story Our Lady of the Open Road won 2016 award for Best Novelette. Her novelette "Two Truths and a Lie" received both the Nebula Awars and the Hugo Award. Her fiction has also won the Philip K. Transformers is an American comic book series that is mostly written by Brian Ruckley and was initially published twice-monthly by IDW Publishing. Based upon the Transformers franchise by Hasbro and Takara-Tomy, this series is a reboot of the previous comic book series that started with The Transformers: Infiltration in 2005 and concluded with Transformers: Unicron in 2018, taking place in a new continuity that is separate from the Hasbro Comic Book Universe.
