Brian L. Ruhe (born September 6, 1974) is an American former ice sledge hockey player. He won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2002 Winter Paralympics. [1] Brian was selected to the All Star Team B for his defensive performance in the tournament.
Brian L Ruhe was born in Greenville, Ohio to Fredrick and Belinda Ruhe. He graduated Greenville Senior High School in 1992 and then attended the University of Cincinnati in the Aerospace Engineering program. During the winter semester of his freshman year, Brian was in a motor vehicle accident.
Ruhe began playing ice sledge hockey in 2000. Brian was recruited by Sylvester Flis [2] while he was working out at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's (RIC) [3] gym. Brian joined the next practice session and joined the RIC-Chicago Blackhawks. He became the starting defenseman and played with the team until 2006.
Brian L Ruhe is a bass player. He played in several cover bands in Chicago, until he met Pablo Mena and Wendi Freeman and formed Daemon Familiar. [4]
Sledge hockey, also known as Para ice hockey, is an adaptation of ice hockey designed for players who have a physical disability. Invented in the early 1960s at a rehabilitation centre in Stockholm, Sweden, and played under similar rules to standard ice hockey, players are seated on sleds and use special hockey sticks with metal "teeth" on the tips of their handles to navigate the ice. Playing venues use an ice hockey rink.

He was born in Crawley, Sussex but grew up in Rainhill, Merseyside and later resided in Hollym, East Riding of Yorkshire. After completing a degree in Business Information Systems, Lloyd worked within the music industry, firstly as a journalist and then within the A&R department of a major record label, before going to work extensively within the sports and leisure sectors.

The Canada national ice sledge hockey team represents Canada at international competition. The team has been overseen since 2003 by Hockey Canada, a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation. From 1993 until 2003, the team was an associate member of Hockey Canada. Since 2010 international para ice hockey has been a mixed event but Team Canada has yet to name a female player to its roster for any tournament.

He won a silver medal at the 2012 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships. Jung was a member of South Korea's bronze medal winning team in para ice hockey at the 2018 Winter Paralympics.
Sylvester Flis is an American former ice sledge hockey player. He won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2002 Winter Paralympics. He became an American citizen in 2001.
