Brian J. Sears (born January 21, 1968, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) is a driver of harness racing horses who in 2016 was elected to the Harness Racing Hall of Fame. He has won more than 9,600 races with purses in excess of $170 million. [1] He was inducted to the Harness Racing Museum in Goshen, New York at July 2, 2017. [2] On March 26, 2019, he was arrested for Battery after sexually assaulting a female at a restaurant in Deerfield Beach, FL. [3]

The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is a museum in Goshen, New York. The museum collects and preserves the history of harness racing and serves as a hall of fame for the American Standardbred horse.

Keith Gordon Waples was a Canadian Hall of Fame sulky driver and horse trainer in the sport of harness racing. In 1959, Waples became the first driver to record a sub two-minute mile in Canada and the first to win a $100,000 race in Canada.

John Campbell (harness racing)

John Duncan Campbell is a retired Canadian harness racing driver. He has been inducted into the Harness Racing Hall of Fame, the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame and Canada's Sports Hall of Fame.

Delvin Glenn "Del" Miller was a driver, trainer and owner in the sport of harness racing as well as an important breeder after acquiring Adios to stand at his Meadow Lands Farm in Meadow Lands, Pennsylvania. During a career that spanned eight decades, Miller won major races in the United States as well as in France. He was the founder of The Meadows racetrack in Meadow Lands, Pennsylvania where in 1997 the Adios Pace was officially renamed the Delvin Miller Adios Pace to honor his memory.

Walter J. "Wally" Hennessey is a Hall of Fame harness racing driver. He was inducted into the Prince Edward Island Sports Hall of Fame in 2006, the United States Horse Racing Hall of Fame in 2007 and the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame on August 6, 2014.

Jimmy Takter is a harness racing horse trainer based in East Windsor, New Jersey, who came to the U.S. in 1982. He was inducted into the U.S. Harness Racing Hall of Fame in 2012.

Earl(e) Bradford Avery was a driver and trainer of standardbred racehorses who was inducted into both the Canadian and United States Harness Racing Halls of Fame.

Ralph Hanover was a Standardbred colt who in 1983 became the seventh horse to capture the U.S. Pacing Triple Crown. Bred by Hanover Shoe Farms, as a yearling he was purchased for $58,000 by trainer Stewart Firlotte at the 1981 Standardbred Horse Sale Company's Harrisburg, Pennsylvania auction.

Ronald W. Waples is a Canadian harness racer. He was inducted into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame in 1986, the U.S. Harness Racing Hall of Fame in 1993, and the Little Brown Jug Wall of Fame in 2006. Among his successes in an outstanding and ongoing career he was voted Harness Tracks of America Driver of the Year for 1979 and 1980, plus he drove, trained, and co-owned the colt Ralph Hanover with which he won the Triple Crown of Harness Racing for Pacers in 1983.

Armbro Dallas (1982–2001) was a standardbred millionaire and world record setting racehorse who competed in harness racing in Canada and the United States. He was trained, driven and co-owned by Canadian and U.S. Hall of Fame inductee, Ron Waples.

Michel "Mike" Lachance is a retired harness racing driver. Widely recognized as among the best drivers of all time, his outstanding career began in 1967 in Quebec City. At retirement, he had won 10,253 races and purses totalling $187,710,149. He has been inducted into both the United States and Canadian Harness Racing Halls of Fame.

Tar Heel was an American Harness Racing Hall of Fame Standardbred racehorse. Given the State of North Carolina nickname "Tar Heel", he was bred by William Reynolds at his Tanglewood Farm near Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The American Trotting Classic at Hollywood Park Racetrack in Inglewood, California is a defunct three-race series in harness racing for Standardbred trotters aged three and older. It was run annually between 1955 and 1981 at three different racetracks with the final hosted by Hollywood Park Racetrack. During the same period, these tracks also offered the corresponding American Pacing Classic.

Joseph Cyril O'Brien was a Harness racing driver, trainer and owner who won the U.S. Trotting Triple Crown in 1955 and would be inducted into both the U.S. Harness Racing Hall of Fame and the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame, as well as Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. Noted for his quiet dignity and diplomacy, he is considered one of the greatest harness horsemen in history.
