Brian Shinners (born 6 August 1949) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Richmond and Hawthorn in the Victorian Football League (VFL). [1]

His granddaughter, Georgia Gee played in the AFL Women's competition with Carlton. [2]

The Australian Football League (AFL) is the pre-eminent and only fully professional men's competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport's governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game. Brian Francis Peake OAM is a former Australian rules footballer. He played for East Fremantle and Perth in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and Geelong in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
