The Black Crowes were an American rock band formed in 1989. Their discography includes eight studio albums, four live albums and several charting singles. The band was signed to Def American Recordings in 1989 by producer George Drakoulias and released its debut album, Shake Your Money Maker, the following year. The follow-up, The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, reached the top of the Billboard 200 in 1992. After a hiatus between 2002 and 2005, the band regrouped and toured for several years before releasing Warpaint in 2008, which hit number 5 on the Billboard chart. After the release of a greatest hits/acoustic double album Croweology in August 2010, the band started a 20th anniversary tour that was followed by a second hiatus. After a final tour in 2013, the band finally announced its break-up in 2015.
Metal Gear Solid is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan and released for the PlayStation in 1998. The game was directed, produced, and written by Hideo Kojima, and serves as a sequel to the MSX2 video games Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, which Kojima also worked on. The game was first unveiled in the Tokyo Game Show in 1996 and subsequently shown in the Electronic Entertainment Expo in 1997, before eventually releasing in late 1998.
Solid Snake is a video game character and one of the primary protagonists of the Metal Gear series created by Hideo Kojima and developed and published by Konami. The cloned "son" of the legendary soldier Big Boss, he is depicted as a former Green Beret and a highly skilled special operations soldier engaged in solo stealth and espionage missions, who is often tasked with destroying models of the bipedal nuclear weapon-armed mecha known as Metal Gear. Controlled by the player, he must act alone, supported via radio by commanding officers and specialists. While his first appearances in the original Metal Gear games were references to Hollywood films, the Metal Gear Solid series has given a consistent design by artist Yoji Shinkawa alongside an established personality.
Circle of Snakes is the eighth studio album by Danzig. It was released on August 31, 2004. It is the first studio album by the band since their debut recording not to have a number incorporated into its title.
Mangled Demos from 1983 is a collection of various early Melvins recordings from 1983, remastered and released on Ipecac in 2005. Until 2005, none of the material, with the exception of the first version of "Forgotten Principles", had ever been officially released. A few tracks included in this album have previously appeared on bootleg releases. It is the only record featuring the original lineup. Tracks 3-13 were recorded at Mud Bay, a suburb of Olympia, Washington, for possible album release. Ultimately the album was not released at the time, as no record label was interested in the Melvins until 1985.

Some editions of this album come with a DVD that features a 'making of' the album. The album has sold over 200,000 copies in the US. The album peaked at #4 on the Heatseekers chart in the US. On July 3, 2004 the album peaked at #147 on the Billboard 200. The song "Guilty Pleasures," seemingly only available on the UK Pressing of Obsession, was confirmed by singer James Hart on Twitter to actually be "The Sun Falls Down." The title is incorrect on the Japan pressings and the single for "I Let Go."
These Arms Are Snakes was an American post-hardcore band that formed in 2002 and featured former members of Botch and Kill Sadie. Before disbanding in 2009, they released three studio albums: Oxeneers or the Lion Sleeps When Its Antelope Go Home (2004), Easter (2006) and Tail Swallower and Dove (2008). Former members of These Arms Are Snakes currently play in Russian Circles, Narrows, Minus the Bear, Crypts, and Hooves.

"I Adore Mi Amor" is the title of a number-one R&B single by group Color Me Badd, released as the second single from their debut album C.M.B. The hit song spent one week at number-one on the US R&B chart. It was also number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart the week of September 21, 1991 for two weeks and spent 20 weeks overall in the list. It also ended the year at number 18 on the annual recap for 1991. In 1992, saxophonist Najee covered the song from the album "Just an Illusion."
Light at the End of the World is the 13th studio album by English synthpop duo Erasure. The album's release was announced on the band's website on 26 January 2007 in a video message from members Vince Clarke and Andy Bell. It made the UK Top 30 upon its release.
See You in Magic is the debut album by the San Diego, California rock band The Night Marchers, released in 2008 by Vagrant Records and Swami Records. The Night Marchers are the latest musical project of singer/guitarist John Reis, previously of Pitchfork, Drive Like Jehu, Rocket from the Crypt, the Hot Snakes, and the Sultans. Reis announced the group's formation in August 2007, after all of his previous acts had broken up by January of that year. The band also includes Beehive and the Barracudas guitarist Gar Wood, CPC Gangbangs bassist Tommy Kitsos, and former Delta 72 drummer Jason Kourkounis. Wood and Kourkounis had previously recorded and performed with Reis in the Hot Snakes. The band members are credited on the album using pseudonyms that they had used in their previous acts: Reis is credited as "Speedo", Wood as "Dner", Kitsos as "Skitsos", and Kourkounis as "Jsinclair".
Greatest Hits is a compilation album by Dutch girl group Luv' by Philips/Phonogram Records. It was rush-released in 1979 a few weeks after the formation had left Philips to sign a record deal with the labels CNR/Carrere Records. It features hit singles scored in the charts between 1977 and 1979: My Man, U.O.Me, You're the Greatest Lover, Trojan Horse, Casanova and Eeny Meeny Miny Moe. These songs were originally released in their first and second studio albums. The Philips/Phonogram years were the group's most successful ones in terms of chart performance.

The album was written, produced and performed by Dhani Harrison and Oliver Hecks. The album was recorded and mixed by Paul Hicks. "Another John Doe", a single from the album, was released via iTunes on 31 March 2008. The iTunes edition includes the two bonus tracks "Jokes On You", and "You Gotta Wait".
Live at the Matrix 1967 is a double live album album by the American rock band the Doors. It was recorded at The Matrix in San Francisco on March 7 and 10, 1967 by club co-owner Peter Abram. The recording is notable as one of the earliest live recordings of the band known to exist, played to a mostly empty venue. By March 1967, the Doors had recorded only their debut album and "Light My Fire" had yet to be released as a single, and they were still relatively unknown outside Southern California.
Astral Weeks Live at the Hollywood Bowl is the fifth live album recorded by Northern Irish singer/songwriter Van Morrison, and released in the United States on February 24, 2009 and on February 9, 2009, in the UK. It was recorded during two live concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California in 2008 and released on Morrison's new Listen to the Lion label and distributed by EMI.
Melpo Mene is an independent band formed and headed by musician Erik Mattiasson from Stockholm, Sweden. Their 2008 album release, Bring the Lions Out, included the single "I Adore You", which was used in a 2008 Volvo car commercial. Initially, their debut album Holes was not available in North America except as a digital download through iTunes until the release of Bring the Lions Out, after which both were available in physical copy.
Band of Skulls are an English rock band from Southampton, consisting of Russell Marsden, Emma Richardson, and Matt Hayward (drums). The group formed after meeting in college, although Marsden and Hayward have been friends since school. Band of Skulls have released four studio albums, their most recent being By Default in May 2016.
Daniel Anthony "Danny" Noriega, better known by the stage name Adore Delano, is a Mexican-American drag queen, singer-songwriter, and television personality. Noriega appeared as a contestant on the seventh season of American Idol in 2008 and later competed—as Adore Delano—in the sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, becoming a favourite among fans and ultimately making it into the final three. Delano has recorded and released three studio albums: Till Death Do Us Party in 2014, After Party in 2016, and Whatever in 2017.
